I, Gaurav Bammi was unfortunate to travel by Spice jet on the 14th of December of 2008.
I along with my family traveled from Pune to Delhi on the 14th of Dec. through flight no. SG212 and reached Delhi at 5.15 p.m.
During my flight to Delhi, I even wrote a suggestion form, in which I had the same review that the ground staff is not courteous enough to help. Till this time I was not aware that my bag would get damaged.
When we reached the baggage collection area, I discovered that my Bag (checked in luggage) was damaged.
When I approached the service desk, a staff named Neelam was only interested in avoiding me saying that I cannot claim anything for this damage.
My bag is brand Dunhill (Pictures attached) and I cannot afford to leave this without a proper action.
Today morning someone called me with a similar message, "Sir you cannot get a claim for such damages" and she was so confirmed as if the bag is lying in front of her and she knows what the damage is.
I am most annoyed about the way the ground staff is prepared to get rid of any problem.
All this experience means a customer cannot ask for a claim unless the whole bag literally "Burns to ashes".
I sincerely would expect an urgent action in this matter.
Thanks
Gaurav.
