[Resolved]  Spice Jet Airlines — FLIGHT CANCELLATION

I had booked a flight SG-513 from Cochin to Mumbai on Spicejet for 7th June.
I had booked this ticket in April and have not received any message from Spicejet about the cancellation of the flight till date. I checked with the customer care just a while ago, and they said that there
was some work going on in Cochin airport which is clashing with the Spicejets timings and hence they had to cancel the flights. But there are other flights (Airdeccan, Indigo) which are flying from Cochin during that period and their flights are not cancelled.

I think since the recent fuel price increase it may not be viable for the company to service this sector and as a result they have cancelled the flights, and they are giving strage reason so that it can be accomodated under their policy.

Now I have booked another ticket with Indigo and am loosing more than 8000 rupees (for 3 tickets). How can I claim my loss, kindly suggest.

Spicejet — Delay in Arrival | No alternative arrangement

Huh Spicejet ,

It is disgusting to see on your part the kind of service you are offering to your customers in case of any inconvenience caused to them only because of your negligence and easy going attitude.

I had my parents coming from Kolkata today but due to fog the flight could not land in delhi and was diverted to jaipur which is fine.

But there was no accomodation provided to them and there was no food served to them as well.

It is totally dissappointing that in such a cold weather they were forced to leave for delhi at 12 in the midnight and that too in some local deluxe buses having no AC facility.

I want this issue to be escalated to the person who is sitting at the helm of affairs and see some action happening for the same.

I need to have a written apology from your side for the inconvenience caused to me and my family.
NEVER TAKE SPICE JET. today they canceled all flights from delhi to kolkata for no apparent reason. all other flights were going despite the foggy conditions in delhi. on top of that, the customer service is horrendous. the company is very poorly run and has no organization. everyone was re-directed to ONE supervisor to handle all cancellations and rebookings, and she was rude, incompetent, and unsympathetic. even if you have to spend more money on another airline, you will be saving a lot of time and headache.

I had booked a flight ticket for 2 persons (Me and My wife) in Spice Jet for travelling from Aurangabad to kolkatta vide Flt no-1047 (Aurangabad to Hyderabad) & Flt no-871 Hyderabad to Kolkata, for travelling on dated 08.11.2012 vide pnr no-LJHFDB.
However the flight from Aurangabad to Hyderabad Flt no-1047 dt 08.11.2012 was cancelled and I was informed about the same over phone on 7.11.2012 and I was advised by the executive who had called from SpiceJet to reach the Airport at 7.00 A.M on 08.11.2012 so that an alternate arrangement would be done by the airlines so that I may reach my last destination point that is Kolkatta.
When I reached Aurangabad Air port at 7.00 A.M on 08.11.2012 and consulted the spicejet staffs regarding alternate arrangement as promised to me over phone by spicejet on 07.11.2012. After verification of my Ticket pnr no, concerned official informed me that my entire journey pnr no-LJHFDB has already been cancelled without my consent and no alternate arrangement was made by SpiceJet despite my reapeated persuation.
Since I had to reach Kolkatta immediately I had to purchased tickets for both me and my wife in the same airline (SpiceJet) flt no SG 162 ,pnr-CK35DG & flt no-SG 605,pnr no-SKELCE on same day which costed me about Rs. 30,000.
I had taken up this matter with spicejet over an email to shraboni.[protected]@spicejet.com and [protected]@spicejet.com on 9.11.2012 but nothing has been done so far by them to resolve my grievance. I request you to please look into the matter at your end and arrange for a refund of Rs. 30,000.

I got cancellation mail for same flights earlier also on 7th Aug 2014 for some reason. I am really not sure what is the issue with your service. I am really not happy with your service. This kind of situations are pushing me not to choose SpiceJet in future.This is the worst service i can ever go for.

Note ** I have my exams scheduled on 17th Oct 2014. Hence i request you to arrange another flight on same date.I am not expecting any kind of alternative on another day.

Best possible alternative i can look for is to give me refund for Mysore - Bangalore/Bangalore - Mysore and arrange flights from Bangalore - Delhi/ Delhi - Bangalore

Looking forward for a positive reply asap.

I have booked ticket from Kolkata to Delhi dated 29th Novemeber 2014 (PNR- XYMSND) almost 3 months back. I have recieved a message today morning that my flight has been cancelled. When I tried to call ur customer care its either busy or not reachable. This is a very bad expierience as I have others work to do can't sit and try ur customer care all day. The call should have been arranged from SpiceJet itself and rearrangment of my travel has to be done. Kindly, look into this problem get it done asap.
