Today I bought a sprite cold drink from a local grocery shop, the MRP on the bottle was mentioned as Rs. 20/- inclusive of all taxes, the shopkeeper demanded Rs. 22/-, i.e. Rs. 2/- extra mentioning that it is cooling charges. When I oppose giving extra Rs. 2/- he said every one is charging and...

why can i have an answer and some action should be taken
where as they show on tv that we can bargin on the mrp price .how we can bargin
we arer charged above the mrp

Today I bought a sprite cold drink from a local grocery shop, the MRP on the bottle was mentioned as Rs. 23/- inclusive of all taxes, the shopkeeper demanded Rs. 25/-, i.e. Rs. 2/- extra mentioning that it is cooling charges. When I oppose giving extra Rs. 2/- he said every one is charging and if it is accepted you buy otherwise go. I am not able to understand this monopolitical situation where the shop keeper is charging extra money for just cooling the product. Are not these things problematic?

Respected Sir, i bought a 300 ml sprite bottle from local shopkeeper from PATIALA (PUNJAB) WHICH MRP was mentioned 10/- inclusive all taxes but he charged me Rs.12/- for it. I want to know why? Will you or i take a strict action against this shopkeeper ? And how?

Yes everyone is doing this. I heard that everyone has their share in it. Starting from the company person, the delivering agent and the shop keeper. They are charging Rs.10 for the cool drinks when it is printed as Rs.8.00 and serve chilled.

Why not the companies take action.
