[Resolved] Standard Chartered Bank — Process to close the card | |||
I am using Standard Chartered Bank SUPER VALUE TITANIUM card. They had not mentioned about process to close the card anywhere either on there site or in the documents sent with the card. So I had asked for process to close the CREDIT CARD 5 times through email to customer care. In my emails I had clearly mentioned that I do not want to close the card now, I just want to know the process to close the card. instead of sending me process to close the card, every time they are asking me to send request to cancel the card and they process it. Which is clearly indicating that they are acting in transparent manner for my query. Please go through the following email communication b/w me Standard Chartered band customer care: Ref : 07/13/038043/SP/CRD Dear Mr. Singh, This is with reference to your e-mail dated July 08, 2013 . Original Message Follows:[protected]---- At this point of time I am only interested in knowing the process of closing the card. Because it is not mentioned anywhere neither on your site nor in the documents sent with the card. So please just send me the process to close/surrender the Super Value Titanium Card which I am having with all the details like charges (if there are any), time it will take etc. I will decide it on my own whether to send request to cancel card account or not. And please please please this time don't send any crap reply. Either send the process to close the account which I had requested or just say clearly that you will not share this information ... (No bakwaas please) Thanks, Sandeep Singh Cell: [protected] On Sat, Jul 6, 2013 at 2:51 PM, customer.care <Customer.[protected]@sc.com> wrote: Ref : 07/13/025357/SP/CRD Dear Mr. Singh, This is with reference to your e-mail dated July 05, 2013. In order to align itself to the market conditions the Bank will change the features and offers its products from time to time. This is in line with the agreed terms & conditions of the product. As per the revised product features of your Titanium Card, the minimum transaction value for cash back is increased to Rs.750.00, the Cash back is capped to a maximum of Rs.100.00 per eligible transaction, and to Rs.500.00 per month for all cards owned by the customer. A prior information to this regard was sent to all our customers through their last 2 month's statement of accounts We hope the above mentioned explanation would satisfy your query.
