State Bank ATM — Improper working of SBI ATM

Hi,

I am Standered Charted Bank a/c holder, Yesterday (i.e 20/06/2011 at 5.30pm) I used SBI ATM at Lakshmi mills, Coimbatore. I entered the amount of Rs 800, it said “transaction timed out”. I tried again, same happened. I went to nearby AXIS ATM and checked my balance, a sum of Rs 1600 which I enetered in SBI ATM has been debited in my A/C. I searched for the customer care no at the ATM, but I couldn’t find. Many people did they same, they doesn’t notice that the a/c were debited.

I went to nearby Branch at Railway Station to inform at 6.30pm. There was a security, behaved badly. I felt very bad with his behavior. SBI was as always poor customer. This is the fourth bitter experience from SBI for me.

If they want to be not questioned, let them be perfect at their job. I used the ATM at 6.30pm, but it was under the problem from morning. There should be kept a notice or a board regarding non-working. It would have saved more valuable time. How can they expect let the customer run for their mistake? I was asked me to wait for 12 days for the refund. How do you do that?

I called my Standard Chartered Bank, they were so good. How can the SBI be always like this !!!
