[Resolved] Student — Police Report is adverse, a show-cause notice is being sent by Post

File: Ref No. A041014 Sir, I have applied for my passport on 5-3-2008.. But it is now showing me the status : "Police Report is adverse, a show-cause notice is being sent by Post " What does it mean.? when i go to the pasport office Lucknow they dont clearly tell me any thing..they haven't done anything new about my passport.. Actually i have given my college hostel room no. as one of my address which is in Allahabadand I live in Lucknow..I study engg in Allahabad..These days i m now in Allahabad Please do reply me because without passport i cannot sit in the GRE exam.which i have to give this year in Sept.. Student — polis report not submitted

i mrigendra srivastava submitted pasport form in 20/03/09 at deoria offec aftter some time completed polis verification but that time my status so "polic verification report not be submetted why

"Police Report is adverse, a show-cause notice is being sent by Post" Means you have some case in your local police station. So please go to your local police station and collect a clean chit from them and submit to the RPO.
