I tried to purchase add on for set max channel in sun direct. But their recharge method is very cumber some, time consuming and MONEY EATING methods.
Setmax add on card charge is 20Rs per month. I purchased 25 Rs recharge coupon and tried to recharge. I was not able to contact the customer care. It was busy thorough out the day. Even if connected, an automated message asks us to wait for 20 minutes. To activate a 20 Rs channel you have to spend more than 20Rs. If you want to the activation through sms, you have to spend 2Rs per sms. If you are unaware of the exact procedure, you have to send a minimum of 4 sms to understand what is happening.[Another 8 Rs gone].
Even after recharging through internet and confirming the balance thorugh sms, channel is not activated, it says insufficient balance [A pure cheating]. So I purchased another 25Rs coupon and recharged through internet from sundirect.in site. It says the pin number is wrong and try with another one.
To activate a 20 Rs channel so far I have spent around 74 Rs [apart from computer and internet usage]. Till now I am not able to confirm whether the money I spent is sufficient to activate the channel or not. As of now, I am not getting the channel.
I felt like being cheated by SubDirect. I WILL NEVER RECHARGE SUNDIRECT. AFTER THE CURRENT VALIDITY IS OVER, I WILL CHANGE TO SOME OTHER BETTER SERVICE PROVIDER.
I REQUEST THE CONSUMERS TO UNDERSTAND THE WAY SUNDIRECT IS CHEATING AND ROBBING ITS CUSTOMERS. Slowly they discontinued the free channels and made them as paid channel. Then they are making extra money in the recharge methods. You cannot complaint to them because it is almost impossible to reach their support.
IF YOU WANT A RECHARGE WITHOUT HASTLE, DO NOT TRY SUNDIRECT.
