[Resolved]  Sundirect — Dish realignment not done, no response from customer care

Hi, Sundirect has moved to new satellite and are displaying ad in the TV giving the contact number of the customer care. They are asking to contact those numbers to get a free realignment done. Unfortunaltely the customer service is so poor. Everytime we call that number (my smart card no: [protected]) they will givce you a complaint reference number and say they are forwarding the complaint to the concerned distributor and will be fixed soon. They are not able to give any timeline of what this "SOON" really means. Also the number they provide to contact the distributor keeps ringing forever but nobody cares to pick up the call. This a very horrible situation, Sundirect does not seem to care about this satellite change as THIS WILL IMPACT ONLY THE EXISTING CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE ALREADY PAID THIER INITIAL BIG SUBSCRIPTIONS AMOUNTS. FOR THE NEW CUSTOEMRS THEY WILL ANYWAY FIX THE DISH IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION SO NO IMPACT TO HUGE REVENUE AMOUNT IN THE FORM OF INITIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS.SO, ONLY THE EXISTING CUSTOMERS ARE THE BAKRAS. I have called the customer care so many times and each time get a really beautiful refereence number. THERE IS NO POINT DISPLAYING PROMOTIONAL ADS IN THE TV SAYING THE CUSTOMER DOUBTS HIS EARING POWER BECAUSE THE SUNDIRECT FACILITY IS AVAILABLE AT 890 RUPEES. NOW THE SUNDIRECT SEEMS TO HAVE GONE REALLY DEAF (NOT JUST IN THE PROMOTIONAL ADS) AND NOT ABLE TO HEAR TO THIER CUSTOMERS WOES TAKE APPROPIRATE ACTION ON THE NONPERFORMING DISTRIBUTORS. SUNDIRECT MANAGEMENT, WAKE UP FROM YOUR SLEEP!! PLEASE CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR PROMOTIONAL AD IN THE TV, IT IS REFLECTING YOUR CURRENT DEAF SITUATION.

SUN DIRECT DISH. — POOR RESPONCE

we parchaged one sun direct on 20-12-08 at RAIGARH( CHATISGARH). name of the delear is mr.tiwari.we payed rs 1999/- & 300/- for telugu pack. still you are not logon the system our set up box also have some problems. it is shoeing standbylight(red) & card on light(green) no any other signals is avaliable.still we are not get any responce from you comapny .I hope it is my bad luck to purchage it inisted of any other direct DTH'S i purchaged due to i also belongs to south side only this thing forced me to purchage.but the responce from the delear& distbuator is not in positive sign. pl look this mater as urgent, if your not responsinding positively .i have to go in other way to solve the problem.details as followes. Sun Direct — dish realignment and not getting 80% of channels

Hi,

I have been calling the sun direct customer care regarding not getting all the channels. Each time the customer care executive tells me that it will be resolved in 24 hours; however, this is not the case. Their service is pathetic.

There is no value for Customers. I think they need to learn basics of Management which says "Customer is the bread and butter for anything".
I dont suggest Sun Direct to any of my frenz..
believe me!! Why to invest money in something worst..
After contacting these Customer care guys, I directly went and contacted a dealer in Coimbatore.

Believe, he really ill treated me..I was made to call him every day for one month. Then I went to his office and waited there for him for about 2 hours..took him with me on my bike and got the things aligned.

Now, All radio channels are missing. Some of the old channels are missing after realignment.

I am frustrated with this. Feels like, I have sold my product to Sun Direct and run behind them to get the things to get it serviced by me!

SUN DIRECT DISH ALIGNMENT
Sun Direct has changed Satellite from Insat 4E to Measat 3. Now we could not see all the channels which i have paid for.

I had given the compliant 40 days back (August 21st -Compliant Number is [protected]) to Disk REALIGNMENT due to sun direct satellite change..

Every day when i call sun direct customer care they are saying that issue will be resolved in 2 days.Still No action has been taken.

Dealer (G K Distributers, bangalore) also not responding properly.I had given the complient on Nov 9th to dealer(Compliant Number:1445)...mm..hum..Total waste..

After long trying i got a mobile number from dealer.When i called the person.He said that he is not responsible to my area .And said that he will tell to another person LOKESH. But no one called me and rectified this issue.

It is pending for 40 days.

Also i have received the SMS saying that my Service Request([protected]) is closed.Still i don't know with out my confirmation how they can close the SR.

Suggest you to don't buy SUN DIRECT. Really i never seen this kind of Service /Support any where.

I am facing the problem with sun direct for the last one month i am not getting proper chanels in TV due to dish realignment ( satillite Problem). In that channels it is showing that your have contact the nearest distributor / you may call to the sundirect call center for dish realignement it is free of cost. I had registered the complaint on 10/11/2010. On that day on wards i had registered many times, but there is no respose from them. It is about complete one month after 08/12/2010. I have to recharge again for getting the channels if the dish is realigned. I dont hope it is solved with in this period. I have taken the local distributor Mobile No also from the sundirect call center[protected] and i contacted ([protected]) him he saying that we will do the realignemnt but you have to pay the charge other wise we wont do it and the same information is passed to the sun direct call center and they have register the complaint (Id No : 1 [protected]). But till now i dont get the response from anybody. After that i had registered the complaint 4 times in the sundirect call center[protected] which is specially for dish realignement but also that is of no use. my amout and time is wasted in doing the complaint registration and i am suffering from last one month. some of the complaint reference nos are giving below.

very worst service. sundirect almost from one month they are troublling they had changed the satellite and asking to pay 250rs for reallignment.

I have been calling up the sun direct customer care since Oct’10 for re-alignment of the dish, but till date none of the company technician has turn-up yet. The mail to the nodal officer (as available in their web site), is yet to be answered.
Every time, you call up the customer care they just reply stating that the technician would be visiting my home very soon. Sometime, I really wonder how long would the word soon can be? I had also, approached a dealer in new panvel, who said the re-alignment would cost me Rs.250, and whereas the company display / customer care executive stated that the service is free.
For last 15days, there is service / telecast, it is a complete black-out.
I use to believe that, in the service industries customer is very important for the industry to survive, but the attitude shown by Sun Direct official contradict my belief. This is one of the most pathetic services the industry can have.
I would like to seek your help in getting the issue sorted out & spreading this information, so that some innocent customer can be saved.

I am also having same type of experience when for realignment massages came by last year Oct. 2010 on TV screen I made thousands call to customer care but I am feeling sorry to say that still I am not finding any solution for this and there is no any response from either the company side or from distributor side. In-fact no body is bothering about the customer in this company and even customer care executives also talking like that customers are on their mercy.

I was socked when I gave the complaint no which I booked some time before they deleted without solution and there is no any tress about the complaint and when I asked to customer care executive to book the complaint then he told that he has to consult with his boss and then he can book the complaint even.My balance was Rs.- 850/- when last time by Feb. 2011 I talk with the executive and they have deducted all money without even connection.

This company is giving false commitment to the customer on advertisement on TV but on reality its very PATHETIC. I will suggest to all the persons who are interested to purchase the DTH pls don't even think about the SUN DIRECT.

If some one ask I can provide all the details regarding the complaints.

worst service i have seen i have complained at least 5 times since last Feb 2011, no response till now
Please think and validate before going for sundirect subscription, Once you paid the money and taken the subscription, deal is done. If you face any technical issue after that, they dont care to fix it. Their business model is very well designed to cheat the customers. If you call sundirect customer care, they will say they will forward your request to the local dealer. Sundirect does not have any control over the local dealers, so they can not instruct for issue resolution. The local dealers never care to give attention to repairs and are only interested in new installations. So finally you will have to catch a local technician (who will do the installation for all providers like airtel, sundirect, big tv and so on) by yourself and pay him huge money to get the issue resolved. I have been calling them for nearly 1 week ([protected]), every time the customer care rep says that the issue will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours and the request has been forwarded to the local distributor. He gives me the local distributor number which will keep ringing for ever but never attended. So I approached a local store who sells the sundirect connections and asked him if he can arrange for a technician. So yesterday (5-Jan) a technician (who supposedly does Airtel installations I think) came and did some check ups. He said that there is some issue with some receive in the dish antenna and need to change it. So he royally charged me 150 for the spare part and 300 for the service. After he left, it worked for an hour and then again the problem started, I get only 3 to 4 channels and for the rest of the channels I get error message "No Signal". Dont know when this will be solved again. Since today morning I have been calling the technician but he keeps on saying "I am coming". This is absolute carelessness on part of sundirect towards their consumers
