[Resolved]  Tata Broadband Connection — Asking me to pay money for wrongly generated bill

Respected Sir/Madam,
This is Noorali Daredia from Pune, Maharashtra. I was using TATA broadband service at my home. My account number and USER ID was[protected] and [protected] respectively. I was one of the satisfied customers of TATA broadband services but when it came for cancellation of service, I have to suffer a lot. I had requested for cancellation of my broadband connection on 30th May 2010 and my billing cycle was 11th June 2010 .i.e. 11 days prior to my billing cycle.
My billing plan:
Name : Noorali Daredia
Speed : 256 kbps Unlimited plan.
Company Plan offer : Pay advance for 3 months and get service for 4 months.
My Advance payment details : I had Paid advance money for 3 month in the month of
Feb 2010.

Cancellation Reason:Tata broadband demanded me to pay Rs 760 as shifting charges even in same society (Hermes Heritage, Pune). Moreover, in same society (Hermes Heritage, Pune) TATA broadband provides free connection to new customer. So, I finally decided to cancel my broadband connection.

Action from TATA Broadband Services:I got call from TATA customer care center saying, they will wave out my shifting charges just I need to continue with my plan. So, I provided them a new billing and connection address.

RESULT:
From 1st June to TILL DATE I don’t have broadband connection at my new home.
- More interesting part: Your record shows, for my account two connection lines are active.
- Bill got generated on 11th June 2010 and I am getting continues call to pay bill amount EVEN IF I AM NOT USING ANY BROADBAND SERVICE.
Tata billing department: Sanjeevan ([protected]) from billing department called me on 18th Aug 2010 and confirmed that BILL WHICH GOT GENERATED AGAINST MY ACCOUNT WILL BE WAVE OFF BUT I NEED TO CONTNUE MY SERVICES. I AGREED TO DO SO BUT STILL NO CONNECTION FROM YOUR SIDE AND I AM STILL GETTING CALL FOR BILL PAYMENT.

I am requesting to clear out my case or I WILL TO FORCE TO TAKE SOME LEGAL ACTION.

Respected Sir/Madam,

With respect to above complain, Still I am getting calls to pay due amount of my broadband connection even though it got wave off (Wrong bill generated by TATA). For this issue, I have launched the complain by visiting TATA office at F.C Road, Pune almost one month back but no response from TATA broadband services.

Please look into this issue.
