I got Tata broadband for 3 months 2 years back, since I was working from home for my company. However, I noticed that I was not able to connect to my office VPN using tata internet, after a 100 calls to customer care, the issue was still not resolved, so I decided to go with a different service provider. I called up Tata customer care and asked them to disconnect and take back the routers and other devices. They disconnected internet, but no one came to collect any items. So, after a month or so, I removed the wires and called up customer care and asked them to send me disconnect confirmation. They sent a person to my house who took the router and left saying all dues are settled and there is no further payment to be made.
Now, after 2 years, I receive a legal notice asking me to appear before Lok Adalat asking me to make pending payment.
