[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Speed as low as 0.1 Mbps; Continues even after repeated complaints; Misbehavior by service persons; False penalties

Sir, I am using Tata Photon+ for more than a year (right from Aug, 2010 approx). It was getting more or less 600Kbps speed (more than your so called average speed). But for the past 3 to 4 weeks, I am getting very poor speed as low as .1 or even lower than that. The speed is 600Kbps at the morning times but in the evening the internet is connecting with this very low speed as I mentioned.

I visited the TataDocomo Shop (Radha nagar Main Road, Chromepet, Chennai 600044.) at my area and made a Complaint over there on 5th DEC 2011. The next day a lady called me from Tata and told the service person would come to my home and also she asked for my time of convenience. I preferred 8 PM since the speed is terribly slow at that time. She agreed but they sent the service person next day (7th DEC, 2011) morning around 11 AM. As I mentioned earlier, I am getting better speed at the morning time, the service person comes in the morning and closed my complaint as the speed is average.

He came to me and took some test in speedtest.net website and he closed my complaint as I am getting 400kbps and it is the average speed. I insisted that I am getting very less speed. Also I showed him my speedtest.net screenshots I took at the last night. But they were not ready to hear me. And the arrogant service person is not responding to my words but tellingme that he doesn't know anything about my queries. All he knows is I am getting 400kbps speed at that time. If I said I am not satisfied with this service, He replied that he can't do anything for that.

As I said, there is a Docomo store is near by my house and they are getting more than 2Mbps speed connection. The service person himself told that repeaters are kept for them to get such speeds. I asked to keep the same for me but is said it is not available for the customers. I suppose, you people are using repeaters only for the store to cheat people with demos and wont serve the customers at all. Right?

And again, the lady called to me to get the feedback about the service. I told them that I am not satisfied with the service. She told that I am getting average speed if the problem persists i am going to make a complaint once again with the screenshots. Also she told I will be charged 150 Rupees as the service charge which will be added to my bill amount. I don't know why you people are charging for the unresolved service even the mistake is from your side but not from my side.

The same evening I was getting terribly slow speed and disconnection of internet very often. I made a call to the customer care number[protected] which is mentioned on the Photon Dialer software. And made the complaint once again. I explainted everything to him and he said he has taken this complaint as a serious one and it will be resolved by 8th DEC 2011(today). He also said they will send the service person on this day. But No one came here and the problem is not yet resolved. Yes, I am taking the snapshots and gathering evidences that I am not using any background download softwares, download manager, torrents etc. After making two complaints, the problem is still persisting and I am making my 3rd complaint here.

What I need:
1. Resolve my low speed issue (use repeater or whatever)
2. The problem is from your side and I am getting charged 150 rupees for service person attending. Make sure, It is not going to be added to my Bill for sure.

If my complaint is not resolved and the problem still persists, I think I can sue you with my evidences. So, Please take appropriate action and try to resolve my issue as soon as possible.

Enough of your copy/paste replies. I've seen the same replies in the most of the complaints. Till now NO ONE HAS come to my place. If you can't do anything, just tell me you have no potential to resolve customer's problems. We know what we have to do next.
