[Resolved] Tata Docomo — Tata Docomo 250 unlimited 3G recharge issue | |||
I have problem after recharged 250, there is no internet connection. I called customer service and first they told wait for 24 hours. And after 24 hours when i saw, there is still no internet connection. So i called again and they told a Surprise answer that it is not applicable in Android mobiles. I am frequently checking my mail when i traveling and now in my mobile there is no internet connection. I am using Samsung Galaxy R handset. I need my answer ASAP, or i will go to court for this. Me too was facing the same problem with 250 pack of Tata Docomo and here I am for giving you the way to fix it.
After wasting my 5 rs and 10 days behind CC, today I am with the perfect answer.
Follow these steps:
1. go to "Access Point Name" in settings
2. change ur APN from "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET" to "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHVC"
3. Save it
Work Done...
Have a great surfing with TATA DOCOMO 3G for 1GB and then 2G for unlimited...:)

We too have the same setting. If 3G plan is not activated, Amount should be debit from your main account balance. That is what happening for us.

I am having the same problem...when I tried to run internet on my android mobile it doesnt respond. but when i used d same sim in java based cell.. it works..I also tried to create manual APN "TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHCV" on my android handset bt it doesnt works. I hv been trying to call customer care for last 6 days and NO ONE has evr attented my call...

if you activate 3G in any mobile set and connect to internet so many pop up programs will unnecessarily get downloaded and our balance amount will get drained.
Unlimited 3G connection is very expensive.
Tata docomo customer care service is hopeless.

After recharge of RC250 am unable to use internet what should i do when i try to talk with costomer care there is no response simply call DISCONNECTING ALL REPRESENTS BUSY WITH OTHER CALL EVERY TIME I AM FACING SAME RESPONSE and even tried TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNETHCV no internet then also.

i want to post this on behalf of many persons using this 250 reharge . the balance of 250 they give away as full balance is deducted in the form of not required services .it works like this they activate some packages by redirecting some links to the docomo page which you havent clicked and then your balance gets deducted afterwards when you call the customer care that your balance had been deducted they reply that you have used these services . so this is the fraud behind this 250 recharge ..VERIFIED.TESTED and i can Prove it ..

Tata docomo is bull .. please do not use this network in Bangalore. With my personal experience I recommend Vodafone. I'm no promoter for any provider. Sorry Tata, I have not expected this from such a great brand..

I hv recharged 250, bt after 1 gb 3g its never worked with new APN, n Its not connecting with old APN on any recharge. Can Anybody tell me How I Connect with the old APN tata.docomo.internet . m currently using tata.docomo.internethvc n its not useful

i have put in a recharge of 250 about 2 days ago... the 3 g services are shown as active... however there is packet data error whenever i try to connect to internet...
