Tata Indicom - Photon + — FRAUD BILLING

I had taken photon + ([protected]) connections because of its good speed. It activated on 6th or 9th of june and initally i applied for 10GB plan with rental of Rs 1100. After activation of connections i got several service call from the company, CCE has informed me about my credit limits of Rs 1500 o[censored]sage and i request them to reduce my credit limits to bill paln only which is Rs 1100. They informed me connection will be disconncted once it cross Rs 1500. Executive inform me to create my account in company website to know about my usage.

Few days back my connection was disconnected from the company. On contact with the call centre they registrated my complaints and given me number of nodal officer to request for restore the connection. Again i called nodal officer, they assure me to restore my connection within few hours and rectify my bills. Every time i call them i was given new complaints or referance number.

Now the company has send me bill of more than Rs6000. As process line has to discontinue once its cross the limits and status has to be updated to my account created, but it has not. Which is totally a voilations of service aggrement.

My simple question, if your company has set a limit of Rs 1500 for my internet usage than how this has cross Rs6000, internet has to disconnected when it had cross the limits. Even it become 4 times of my limits. Then what the purpose of setting limits and no update was made on my account service. I believe your company is intentionally doing this practice to take more bills from the individual customer.

If my problems is not solved immediately I would like to take this issue to higher authority, consumer court and regulator. Kindly help to resolve this issue.

TATA Indicom Photon + — fraud billings

hi everyone,
i bought photon plus on 9th oct and my connection barred on 18th oct, i'm using 15gb plan,
they haven't noticed me about the connection barred. whenever i plug my photon+ it always says "Remoter computer not responding". i tried all the customer care numbers, every body says i have crossed the credit limit of Rs 2500, i.e. i have to pay Rs 2950/-

my usage details shows that i have crossed 18gb. in just 10 days.. this is really awkward..

my free data is 15 gb which means i have to pay only for 3gb which is about 1500 rs.. i am explaining this to more than 3 to 5 tata indicom executives,but no one responds asusual everybody says i have crossed the limits and i have to pay Rs 2950/-,
After that i made complaint in tata indicom forums..

admin also said i have to pay Rs 2093/- and thats also an interim payment ..

after reading several posts in the forum i came to know about "pro data". these people never said
anything about pro data.

what actually pro data is :
if you bought the photon + on 20th of any month and if you are in 1500 plan which is Rs 15 gb, then according to pro data.
this 15 gb is divided by 30 which is 500 mb.

so reducing 20 days i.e 20 x 500 mb which is 10gb.

so you have to use only 5 gb for that month ( 20 to 30 of that month)

think about people who bought 2 gb plan.

2 gb / 30 = 0.06 mb per day,

if he bought the photon plus on 20 th of any month.
he should use only 10 x 0.06mb which means nearly = " 0.6 mb."

will this 0.6 mb is enough for ten days??

if they have explained everything about " pro data " i wouldn't have bought it.

and the best of all is ?
when i received the photon + bill- it says i have to pay rs 5093/- ( suddenly the bill raised from 2950 to 5093, even when i am not using it).

and my credit limit is Rs 2500 (i don't know what for the credit limit is. why they allowed the bill to reach Rs 5093, they should have stopped at 2500).

i don't know what [censored]g stratergy they are using for the billing?

today, just before posting this post, i talked with the tata indicom office in chennai (Royapettah, near sathyam theatres).

they asked me to wait for more than hours.(They said the "server is down please wait" - this always happens with tata indicom poor network.)

after that a man came, on seeing the bill he again explained me everything about pro data ("just after charging me thousands of rupees"),

he asked me to pay Rs 5093, or make a complaint against the dealer (from whom i bought) for not informing me anything about pro data.

this is awkward if dealer says that i have explained everything then i have to pay( i don't have any proof, they wants me to carry voice recorder always with me, so that i can record who is speaking what).

this tata indicom is really fraud, they are not explaining the most complex part of the billing system and cheating the consumers...

please spread this message, and if you are photon + consumer be aware of prodata.

i have attached the screen shot o[censored]sage details which shows i have used only 0 mb.

see the date in the screen shot - even after weeks the usage is not updated.

they really cheating the users with wrong information.

whenever i watch india vs australia matchs (ongoing odi ) and when i'm seeing the photon + advertisements , i am at very deep , why these guys are spending lots of money for advertisements, but not interested in solving customer problems...

these guys are getting money from us by cheating and trying to cheat more people by making more advertisements.
don't fall into the trap, like me and many others did.
this is a lesson that i ( we ) should google about the products before buying, even if its is going to be tata salt.

I paid my bill to the photon plus on line on 6th May 2011. And they send me the bill again including in next month that is on June 2011.
And This is not first time. EVERYTIME I paay the bill I informed them via mail and these crap guys not updating in the account.
I can not understand thie purpose of doing this silly misteks every time you pay the bill.

And when we ask them to deduct the previous month amount from the bill which I paid already they ask to come to their outlets..WHY Customer Should go and meet them ontheir misteks.
