[Resolved]  Tata Indicom Postpaid Connection — Refund of security amount

Sir,
Sir I have got a call from tata indicom, in the call they tell me the postpaid plan to my prepaid no. I like the plan so I confirm them to convert my no. to postpaid from prepaid. but due to documents probelm the no. could not be activated, now it has been two month, but they are not returning my security amount (600Rs) and ignore me, I have complaint it in tata indicom nodal officer but result are same, I have the receipt of all that.
Please take the necessary action on this fraud of tata indicom.

TataIndicom — postpaid connection

Respected Sir,
I, have taken a postpaid connection on[protected] when one of representative visited our office on[protected]. I am hjolding a mobile with airtel connection and he convinced me togo for tata connection. An amount of 600/_ has been paid as per the details told by the representative. New sim was handed over to me on[protected]. On[protected] morning when i asked the representative about the activation, then the rep has informed me my sim was activated.when again asked about sim activation on afternoon, then the representative telling that your mobile is a GSM make and it wont suits the sim as it is CDMA technology.Actually i am not aware of this and tata representative ha s also not informed me. How the representative knowingly cheated me for going for the connection. He would have told me before I was opting for the postpaid tata connection without mobile phone.
In this connection I request you to take proper action and inform me at an early.

hey Mr., i think u r a fool man...In these education and technology days u dont know which is CDMA and GSM connection...This is shame o[censored] only, dont post this type of complaints in the forum..

TATA Indicom — Applied for a postpaid connection,but the fee has not been refunded by them yet.

Some of you might find it little bit amazing from a group like TATA, this could happen.
Well let me inform you that I applied for a postpaid connection of Tata Indicom.I recently shifted to Hyderabad from Kolkata.
The agent who collected my form collected a sum of Rs.600(refundable) for application also and when I said that I dont have any address proof here, he asked for Rs.100 more by which he will make an agreement and will offer me the connection, I negotiated that amount to Rs.50 and as per his commitment I will be receiving the connection within 2 days.This dates back to the 22nd of August probably .
After this the agent disappeared with no intimation at all about the status and I was trying to catch the guy like crazy over the phone and his pretences were

Month end is going on
I was in a training
I am out of station
And finally his wife said he left his mobile at home.

Any way this is the story and I dont want to pull it more.

By this time I managed to get a TATA INDICOM post paid connection through some other agent and even started receiving the bills also at the same address.

Finally I talked to the customer care guys who said that the cheque has been issued to me to refund the amount at my address but it bounced back saying that nobody stays there by this name.

So you can realize the difference cheques do not comes to the address but the bills do.

I made complaint to the nodal officer via email but to receive only false commitments and finally the person stopped replying to my mails even.

They told me to visit there KLK office on Saturday and I did the same to collect the cheque, after reaching there one lady told me to come on Monday before 9pm, as their Finance people dont come on Saturdays and even more interesting is, the cheque which has been prepared for me was actually bearing my missplet name.
So the lady asked me to come on Monday with an address proof to request for reissue of the cheque.

I visited there office on Monday at 8 pm and surprised to see that nobody was there forget about the finance guys not even the customer care representatives were present there.

So this is quiet clear by now that how much is the coordination among them who are working in the same company and department.

So finally I visited there office on 27th of Oct and requested for a reissue of cheque.And now it will take 10 working days to prepare the cheque on my properly spelt name.

Please be careful from these agents of Tata Indicom.

The executives are giving wrong information about the postpaid plans. All executives are sitting in Tata Indicomm okhla office and there names are -

Dear Sir,


This is to inform you that, authorized representative of TATA INDICOM; Mr. Shekhar (Mr. Shahil and Ms. Deepika) had given me fake information about the plan. and they activate wrong postpaid plan to my number.

Actually i have got a call from tata indicomm, okhla office from deepika and she told me about the plan 275 in which local and STD calls both are 50ps. and she told me if i will take add-on of rs25 then i can call STD on one number in 25ps/min. i have asked that this is valid on any number in india or only tata. then she told that any number means other then tata will also work. after that they send one representative for the application form. and then i talk to Mr. Shekhar, who again tell me the same things. then finally i fill the form and gave 600rs to the executive. on the next day i got a call from Mr. Shahil, and he confirm me about the documents which i have submitted. then again i asked about the 25rs add-on and he told me that yes i can call any one number other than tata in india in 25ps. One more thing that i have asked for last 4 digit number of my choice in my mobile number than they said definetly i will get. when finally i get a call from verification department then i know that they all were given me fake information. there is no such sceme in which i can call one particular number in 25ps. and on next day when my number is activated the number is of not of my choice and the plan which is activated is not 275. which plan they have activated is 224 in which std is 2.65 ps/min.

The problem is, I have asked one single question to everyone but they given me the same answer. Just because of selling the postpaid connection they are doing such type of cheap things. and giving wrong information to the customers.
I am shocked to know that all the commitments and assurances given by the representative have failed.

MY TATA-INDICOM POSTPAID CHANGE IN PREPAID A/C

Tataindicom, Mobile Post paid connection — Sold the connection with wrong information

I went to TataIndicom shop, and asked about the unlimited plan of Tata to Tata,
then the Tataindicom executive told me that, There is plan called "Honest 450",
in which you will be able to call all India TATA to TATA indicom phone unlimited times.

But after taking the connection, I just called the customercare to check these things,
then they have told that no it's not unlimited, it's limited to 2000 minutes.
and where as after selling the phone even these plan was not activated,
I have not been informed by the dealer or anyother TATA executive.

and after that I have called manytimes to TataIndicom executives and customercare.
They are telling that they need writtend proof. and the dealer said that they will not give a single proof to the
customer.

and they are suggesting that better to Pay the bil and close the services.


This is the answer from the dealer.

I'm really become speechless after hearing. I asked, the mistake I have not done,
why am I suppose to pay for that. They have told you don;t have option
otherthan simply paying.

So Need the suggestion. and tell me who will really listen.

TATA Indicom — refund of security amount

In the month of May, 2008 I completed all formalities for the disconnection of the phone service.I have reciept with me. I made so many round to the company's office for enquiring about the refund of security amount but all in vain.
i want to be a my E Statment in my Email Add.
finally I have closed the Tata indicom connection. Now feeling very happy that, I 'll not be any more breached by Tata indicom.

i have paid my tata indicom mobile bill.But no service after seven days.i requried service as soon as possible. mobile no [protected].

TATA Indicom — giving wrong imformation

I have brought a new number last month. it was written on the envelope of number that nothing will be debited on daily basis on this number. I got it recharched with Rs.325 which is tata to tata free recharge secheme. After 1-2 days i came to know that by balance in phone is reducing even if i was calling on only tata numbers which was free in that plan. I called custmer care and explained that even if i am calling only on tata phones which is freewhy they are charging. they imfomed me that one scheme is automatically activated on my mobilein which they charge Rs1daily.i told them that i dont want this scheme change it. they told me that if i want to change i have to payRs 52 more then i asked them what about my recharge they told me that u will get that. t got it rechared again with Rs52 on 13/12/2009. today i came to know that they are charging me even for tcalls which i have done on tata mobiles. I called them that i have rechared it fir Rs325 on 03/12/2009 in which tata to tata calls was free for one month why they are charging,they told me that you have changed ur plan that why but i told them that i have changed only base plan how can they cancel my recharge by changing base plan without imforming me.But they dont want to listen to me. they cheated me two time please help me in getting justice and stop companies cheateing their customers by giving them wrong imformation please help me as soon as posible.

TATA Indicom — Regarding Balance & Giving Wrong Info.

Dear Sir,

I got a msg.on 14/03/2011 that If recharge your phone with a amount of Rs. 199/- ,you will get Rs. 260/- talk time & get call charges on other no. in India at rate of 1ps./sec. i recharge my phone yesterday morning but still i could not get all above stated scheme. I tried many times at customer care centre but still could not get satisfied ans.
I awaited for a hopeful reply soon from your end.(Otherwise i complaint in ConsumerCourt.)
