[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Ripping and harrasing

I have a tata sky setup box HD on saturday i.e. on 14/4/2012 I call to customer care for add new setup box + with recording and make a payment as they required . after two days the service man come to my home and install new HD+ box and put old setupbox card in the new one. and he on the new setup box and the old one he say that will work within one hour. but after calling and calling again the setup box not turned on. then I call customer care again. they say they are only send to upgrade your setup box. I told them why your service man install LNV and wire to the other and promisse me to start working within one hour. but they did'nt listen me. after again and again contacting me with the they deduc Rs.. 816/- from my account for reinstalling the same. I don.nt understand if one thing is already installed at my home and they are charging again for the same. this way they are ripping me. and till now setup box not working.

I again call them for the same but nobody answer me satisfactory and say that the proceedure ins in the system to deduct the money. I gone to ask if one thing is alredy installed in my home why they are again chare for the same. and even harrasing me to not turn on my setupbox.

You can address your complaint to tata sky’s official handle @tatasky. They will help you out in fixing your set top box. I once faced an issue where I paid for the package amount but my account was de-activated. I tweeted regarding this complaint and tata sky immediately responded to my tweet. All I had to do is submit my subscriber ID. The customer service team instantly gave a callback and my account was activated. I suggest you too should provide your subscriber ID either here or tweet regarding your issue with this complaint link. I am sure they will look into your matter and fix the STB also secure your amount deducted.
