Tata Sky — Wrong Information

Hi, I am Vishal Kapoor & my consumer id is - [protected].
I purchased 2 TataSky DTH connections on 2nd July and I am supposed to get 1 month of Dhamal pack free along with HD channels free till the 2nd August 2012.

However, my connection has been deactivated on 24th July as I need to recharge as per the message shown on the television.
Upon calling the customer care on 24th July the executive informs that I need to pay the rental of the secondary connection so that my connection can be restored.

Was misled initially by Hardeep on 24th July who mentioned that my account was free till 2nd Aug 2012 and that no charges were to come on the account. Hardeep forwarded request to backend team. I received a call back from them the representatives named Anand and he disconnected the call without any saying aything.

I had asked all the representatives even the Welcome call which I received for the charges if at all I need to pay however none of the representatives told me initially that I need to pay for the free service as well during my 1 month tenure.

I also had a chat with a representative chat id - 177310 & my complaint was forwarded
with complaint id - 1-[protected] and that I would get a call back.
When I received a call back from them the representatives named Anand & Roshan saying that it is the customer's fault the customers do not understand anything and that he will not do anything to correct the issue of mis-selling.

No one has clear information to give as every time I get new information when calling you.

They were supposed to call back on the 24th July however it hasn't been done yet. Why should a customer be paying for a free service?? If they cannot give a free service then they should tell the customer to pay.

I cant even cancel and get a refund since as per Tatasky's policy you do not get a refund of the STB & the dish.

Request your help in getting this resolved.
