[Resolved]  Telebrands / Super Slicer — bad product and not ready to refund the amount that i will have to pay for postal charges

ordered for a super slicer around 16 days back.. I got the delivery on 29th September 2008. when i opened the parcel the packing was real bad. it looked like ages old. and when i tried using the machine it didn't work, blades were completely blunt. I cann't even cut my finger forget about cutting vegetables. and when i called up customer care serivce they said m'am you send it back we'll replace it. when i asked whether the postal charges that i will pay for sending it back, will be refunded to me or not she said sorry m'am it wont be. And when i argued as to why not, the company is at fault she said no m'am we wont refund that money. I then spoke to some female who was supposedly the product and packaging quality in charge. she also had the same thing to say. Now I have decided to send a formal E-mail to the telebrands international. I have already send an email to [protected]@telebrandindia.com. I am going to send a formal hard copy of the complaint to the company asking for expalaination and within 30 days i will sue them in consumer court for the entire sum of money i have paid and also for bad service and mental agony that i had to go through because of all this. I have decided to keep the product as long as they dont give me a written assurance that i will get a replacment absolutely free of cost. otherwise it will be a proof of their bad service and bad product qaulity in the court.. i will suggest you people also to take action against these people even for a trivial amount. thats the only way. and yes use the blogs and other sites to tell people about all this.

I brought one nicer dicer, blades are blunt as well. The plastic container is of very shoddy quality and developed cracks just after the first usage itself. The product delivery came along with no user manual and promised free recipe book. I guess telebrand shows something else on TV then what is sent duplicate China made. Never buy any thing from telebrand India.
I have the very same problem as report Richa.. One thing that I found out by querying on the web, is that
what is being advertised is
a) German brand "GENIUS NICER DICER"
b) Comes with a 5 year warranty
c) US price 39 dollars, UK price 19 pounds..
Which is what we have paid
However, what is delivered is
a)"IS INGENIOUS NICER DICER"
b) No such brand exists when you query on the internet. It is not even "made in china".. must be made in some slum, I guess for Rs.50/-

I have threatened Mr Starlin (Manager) that I will report them to consumer court .. Lets see what happens.. I will take make these guys sweat if they are cheating us..
I have purchased a sofa cum bed and super slicer on 15/10/09. Ihaved received produts which is already used and the sofa is totaly damaged . I contact the customer care about tthis, but nobody giving proper response. Thet have told me repair the sofa witth paste which is supplied me or return the product and pay the courier charges. what i am is asking is why should I repair the product.It is your responsilibity to replace the product, I am nor satisfied with the customer care service.b
Lesson to be learned just about everything that is advertised on TV is associated with Telebrands and Telebrands In'tl and it's usually junk merchandise. And it's pretty much a given they will over charge you and sell your information to other scum bag companies and/or their affilated companies and then you have the ordeal of having to fight to get your money refunded and they NEVER want to reimburse you for the return shipping cost even when you didn't order what they charged and sent to you. I ordered a Bark Off for $9.99 and they charged $130.84 for numerious units and the AC charges that I never ordered in the first place. This is a billion dollar rip off internationally. Buyer Beware!
Bought Super Slicer and it is an old product, they say it's chef's secret but it is a cheap product, there are no printing of super slicer on any items, bought it in February 2011 but the date of import on the package says August 2009, the product is locally manufactured I think. Telebrands is a fraud company.
I ordered AURIGOLD Car Polishing Kit from Telebrands and got it in two weeks. I two thousand and some hundred for it. The package looked like a , very old and damaged, I had to throw away the package. The main Aurigold autopolish Seal was already opened and it had about half of the quantity. The same was with Crystal Auto wash and Vinyl and leather protector. I called up customer care, they said, they will replace it and send a new package to me having only the aurigold and NOT the other two items with it. The aurigold this time was sealed but when I opened the seal, I was shocked to see that the polish was separated into a white dough (maida) and alcohol. I tried to shake it and mix it but it didn't. I checked the date and it was two years old. I again called the Customer Care, they said I've to send the complete package back on my OWN cost and then they will send the new one. I abused them and they disconnected the phone. I'm complaining to Consumer Court for this thing named Telebrands. They are
26.10.2012 i also bought super slicer for them and only after being cheated i searched them on the website and discovered this page. i learned that since years they are continuing fooling people and still going on. When will it stop. The product i got is totally different from what they shown on television. I think they are copying original products with some local manufacturer and selling them at high cost. fooling the people bas*****
