Dear sir I have subscribed in March' 2010 for two years of Time Magazine. I was assured a pack of 3-suite cases as free gift. It is more than 17 months and I am yet receive the gift. In this regard I contacted at least 15 times to different executives of Living Media India Ltd. at Tel. [protected] and also through a number of e-mails at [protected]@intoday.com. Some of the contact persons, date of contact, and their response to my quary is reproduced as follows: Persons name Date Response - verbatum 1.Ms. Vanya - [protected] gift despatched by Express PP no.7971 on 02-02-11. 2. Mr.Anand [protected] should receive gift in a day or two 3.Ms. Nigar [protected] should receive gift soon 4.Ms. Jyoti [protected] Sorry, you will receive soon 5.Ms. Nigar [protected] you will receive in 2/3 weeks, latest by March end 6.Ms. Jyoti [protected] Request forwarded to concerned Dept. should receive in 2/3 weeks 7.Ms. Jyoti [protected] Reminder 8.Ms. Jyoti [protected] you will receive by April end, other wise remind in Ist week of May'2011. 9.Ms. Nigar [protected] gift is coming from Hongkong, you will get by 20-05-11 10.Ms. Nigar [protected] Reminder, You will definitly get by 20/22-05-11 11.Ms. Nigar [protected] I assure, You will definitly get by 15-06-11, otherwise contact our team leader Mr. Abhishek at [protected] 12.Ms. Rakhi [protected] Sorry, you will receive soon 13.Ms. Jyoti [protected] gift despatched by Express PP no.487 on 04-07-11. 14. The latest reply to my e-mail is as follows: Dear Mr. Shah, This is with reference to your e-mail in regards to the non receipt of gift. We regret to inform you that the dispatches for the subscription gift are with held due to certain logistical reasons. These gifts are currently in the process of being dispatch and same are expected within 10-12 working days. Hope you shall bear with us in the interim. Please feel free to get back to us for further assistance/clarifications. Assuring you for the best possible services; always. Based on my experience so far I am not at all convinced that the executives of Living Media India Ltd. are serious about meeting their obligations. TIME MAGAZINE — Non-receipt of gifts
I had subscribed for TIME magazines by D/D for months back. after two months I started receiving the Magazine. But the gifts, TIME- 4 piece travel set, has failed to reach me. Will you please expedite it? If not cancel my subscription and send back the money immediately. the aforesaid is exactly true for me as well.
it has taken about four months for my subscription to start, that is, the receipt of magazine.
However, i have still not received any information regarding my Free gifts, i.e., 4Piece Travel Set.

TIME MAGAZINE — Non-receipt of free gift
I have sent advance subscription for Time magazine ( Subscription Number[protected] vide cheque No. 6819 dt 2.3.2010 drawn on Bank of India, Bombay on 2nd March, 2010. The Company promised to send a free gift to the subscriber on receipt of the subscription. It is now more than 4 months and I have not yet received the free gift despite numerous emails and phone calls.Would appreciate your intervention in the matter. Thank you.

I am recieving the magazine regularly but inspite of atleast 6 reminders to customer care, and with assurances from Ms. Akshita/ Mr. Anand, I am still not lucky to see my free gift of 4 travel bags which they had promised. If there are many others like me let us all collectively speak up as Free gift is a part of promotion and is a committment from company to it's customer to go for the product and thus obligatory. this is least accepted from a company like Time magazine who constanly keep on publicising there free gift promotion. if they are doing this all the while, then this can be a fit case for a class action in the consumer court and we can extract a order from the court to stop them from publicising such misleading and false promises and can even file case of cheating under section 420 for defrauding the public . let us compile our complaints and approach consumer forum accordingly.

Ihavenot received my free gift on subscription of time magazine of nov 2010.The telephone lines are always busy and therefore not able to communocate. e mails are not being responded. The post office has not received the parcel which is understood to have been sent by them by express post parcel no. 556 dt 10 th feb 2011.

i was to receive a set of 4 bags along with a bonus gift of caryall .almost 10 MONTHS HAVE PASSED. BUT NO GIFT HAS BEEN RECD.
i have spoken a no. of times to rajesh, sangeeta, anand, nigar etc who keep telling me that it has been dispatched. they have been taking a customer for a ride & to top it all are VERY RUDE. is it cause they think they are doling out alms to the poor? they even commented that i have no option but to wait.
kindly look into the matter urgently, failure of which will attract furthe action. hoping that u are better action oriented than the subordinates.
They are making false statement and promises..
they say keep patience, bt how much isnt 10 months patience enough..
i am running just 16 and my dad used to encourage me to read this magnzine, it was very popular among us bt after such a case how can we trust TIME. Even after being such a reputed magzine TIme is Doing all this stuff, how can we tolerate,
I hope strong actions will be taken against this

Dear SirI am completely fed up!! We do not receive our copy of Time magazine for months at an end. I have a 3yr subscription and wish i had not done so. Plz ensure that the issue is resovled else can i please have my money back.
