[Resolved] Times Of India — SUBSCRIPTION PAID(SUBSCRIPTION NO. NAC 062272) AND ISSUE NOT RECEIVED | |
I HAVE PAID A SUBSCRIPTION OF Rs. 299.00 FOR ONE YEAR AS PER TOI ADVT. BY CHEQUE. THE CHEQUE HAS BEEN CLEARED WITHIN COUPLE OF DAYS AND THEY INFORMED THAT THE ISSUE WILL START FROM 15.12.2009. EVEN AFTER REPEATED COMPLAINTS WITH THEM TILL NOW NOT RECEIVED THE ISSUE. IN TURN LAST WEEK(22.01.2010) TIMES OF INDIA COME BACK WITH A MAIL SAYING THAT AFTER RECEIVING THE PARTICULAR MAIL CLAIMED THAT I WILL GET A COPY WITHING 48 HOURS. BUT TILL NOW EVEN AFTER 5 DAYS OF THEIR WRITTEN COFIRMATION IT HAS NOT FULFILLED. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY ARE CHEATING BY GIVING WRONG ADVERTISMENT OR WRONG COMMITTMENT. SO I AM REGITERING THIS COMPLAINT WITH YOU FOR GETTING ME THE ISSUE. MY SUBSCRIBTION NUMBER IS NAC 962272

I have the same complaint. I have paid the amount 2 months back and till now no delivery. Have called customer care couple of times and even sent mails to CRM, INDIATIMES. Got reply but still no delivery. Here giving the mail conversation that I had with crm, chennai.

India Today — no issue received after giving cheque in jan 2009
dear siri have sent cheque no 570550[punjab national bank, lucknow]dated 1.1.2009 for the subscription for india today.[ for 5 years]
previously i had enjoyed 5 years of subscription nicely.
but this time there was a scheme of reebok shoes also with the subscripton.
my cheque has not been cashed till date. its been 4 months now.
