I'm residing on Vandikaaran street, Maduvankarai, Guindy. Here power is shutdown for 3 hours, i.e. from 10 to 12 in the morning and 6-7 in the evening, whereas in the Alwarpet area (near park sheraton hotel), power is not shutdown even for 1 hour. Why this disparity? When they shut down for 3 hours in Alandur Municipality, why not they do it everywhere equally. When I called the TNEB offices, I was informed that they get pressure from the higher authorities and also from Ministry level. When I also pay tax why my children should suffer during study hours i.e. 6-7. I put a request to so many people. No response. I request the concerned authorities to look into it and at least change the timings of power shutdown, so that children's study doesn't get disturbed. Was this information helpful? |
