I WISH TO REGISTER MY FORMAL COMPLAIN AGAINST TOYOTA BHARAT /KIRLOSKAR MOTORS AND MADHUBAN TOYOTA MUMBAI.
I HAVE DONE THE BOOKING OF TOYOTA ETIOS ON 2ND DEC AT MADHUBAN KHAR WEST SHOW
ROOM.BY PAYING 50,000 RUPEES (ETIOS RED COLOUR AND MODEL -V)
I HAVE DONE THE BOOKING EVEN WITHOUT SEEING THE VEHICLE AS I WAS TRUSTING TOYOTA. ON THE BOOKING DAY THEY COULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME THE PRICE OF THE VEHICLE AS IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
I MADE SEVERAL CALLS AFTER THE BOOKING IS DONE , FOR ORDER CONFIRMATION
AND DELIVERY DATE.
BUT THERE IS NO CONFIRMATION , NOR ANY COMMUNICATION FROM TOYOTA OR MADHUBAN SIDE EXCEPT ONE SMS FROM MADHUBAN TOYOTA.
THIS RAISES SEVERAL DOUBTS .
HAVE THEY TAKEN MY ORDER ON RECORD ?
WHAT WILL BE THE DELIVERY TIME ?
WHAT WILL BE THE PRICE FOR THE VEHICLE ?
WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO GIVE THE VEHICLE?
ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE RED CAR OR NOT ?
( AS I GOT THE INFORMATION FROM OTHER DEALERS THAT RED CAR DELIVERY WILL BE
AROUND END MAY OR JUNE ).
WHAT IS MY ORDER CONFIRMATION NUMBER ?
WHO WILL ISSUE THE ORDER CONFIRMATION ?
WILL IT BE BINDING ON TOYOTA AND MADHUBAN TOYOTA ?
THIS ALSO SHOWS POOR CUSTOMER CARE SYSTEM AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE SYSTEM.
I HIGHLY OBJECT TO TOYOTA AND MADHUBAN TOYOTA'S BOOKING SYSTEM.
HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT M/S. MADHUBAN TOYOTA HAS FORWARDED MY ORDER
TO TOYOTA INDIA ?
HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT TOYOTA HAS ACCEPTED MY ORDER ?
WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BOOKING AND ALSO THE T & C OF DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE.
I NEED THE CLARIFICATION AND ORDER CONFIRMATION PER RETURN. ELSE I WILL BE
FORCED TO GO TO CONSUMER COURT FOR YOUR WRONG MARKETING & SALES PRACTICES.
Agree to your point. Even I have booked Etios on 4th december & still have no communication on the delivery month/date. I read somewhere that Toyota has confirmed the delivery would start from Jan 1st but there are no signs of delivery to dealers from the company. Toyota is a big brand & that is why they got so many bookings even without a test drive but they should not keep their trusted customers in dark for so long.
I am thinking of cancelling my booking if I do not hear from my dealer in a week's time from now
Very true. Even i made payment for the Etios on 2nd dec from Aurangabad from Wasan Toyota. This sales manager gave me receipt dtd 6/12/10 & told me that my booking date shall be considered on the 6th. I sent a grievance to Toyota but except for an automated mail, there was no response. When enquired at there Nashik office, these sales execs give the excuses that booking is online & we dont know the schedule, & ask me to contact Aurangabad office. etc.etc. The local sales fellow doesn't receive the phone nor does he calls back & when he receives the calls he simply laughs & says he doesnt know because toyota is going to decide the schedule & send us .
This is " THE TOYOTA WAY". And the "Q Revolution" - Quick(?) etc etc..hasn't trickled down to the sales manager level. It seems it exists only at the top level(?)
Even I am thinking of cancelling my booking? Lets see.

I also agree that we should approach the consumer court against Toyota's hide and seek attitude towards their valuable customer like me. Toyota has not realized that without a customer there is no Toyota or Etios. I booked the car on 8th Dec at Nippon Toyota, Cochin and till date (14th Jan) i have not received any conformation or priority number against my booking either by post or through e-mail. When i checked up the delivery status with the dealer they could not give me a proper reply regarding the delivery date of my vehicle. They told me that i may get the vehicle by August 2011 !!! When i asked them about the monthly supply position from the company they could not give me a firm reply. Last week i contacted the customer care team of Toyota Bangalore office over phone 080-66553300 and had a chat with Mr. Bharath, Sinoth, Pallavi and Babitha. They also could not give me a satisfactory reply regarding my turn in getting the car. They simply forwarded my queries to the dealer where i booked the car and i am again back to square one waiting for a genuine reply to my queries. The funniest part is when i asked the customer care department at Bangalore to give me the contact number of the marketing manager or even the MD of Toyota they didn't give me the number. Actually we are fools to book the vehicle without seeing the product and without having the test drive. They simply launched the "PICTURE and small toys of ETIOS" on Dec 1st and with the full support of the media they have commenced the booking of the vehicle which i hope a company like Toyota should not have done this. They are spoiling their own image in the market and among customers. And the funniest part is if we change the color or if we want to shift to a higher model (after seeing the car ) we will lose the priority !!! Now i am having a second thought whether i should retain my booking or cancel it ... I request Toyota to kindly look into the matter and change their attitude towards their valuable customers. I would appreciate Toyota if i could get an authentic answer to my above queries through my mail i.d email@example.com
I completely agree with the comments and I am also in this same worse situation. I have booked my car on Dec 1st and still dont have a clear message from the dealer on when the car would be delivered. For the last 1.5 months all I get as answer form the delear (nandi bangalore) is that it will take atleast 3 months. The dealer also says they are expecting only 25 vehicles from Toyota for the whole of the first quarter. I don't really understand then why the H**L has Toyota invested Rs 3200 crore in the plant for manufacturing and still takes 6-9 months waiting time.
Just as a rough calculation, as the booking amount 50, 000/- from 18, 000 customers so far, toyota has a whopping Rs 90 crore. (though the customers has paid the booking amount to the dealer, I am not sure if the dealer has any payment with toyota). Though we all know Rs 90 crores is nothing for a company like toyota but still it is a considerable money collected.
Same with me as i had booked on 2nd Dec At GraceToyota Gurgaon... After so many calls day after day, on 15the Jan I had called up in the morning and asked my booking no. they had given me no.125 and when i called up in evening for the same and there was different employee who picked up the phone said my no. is 139. What is this? All dealers are cheater... They are delivering first to known their persons...Booking should be online...
Hi all!! We have all been CHEATED by Toyota. Even I had booked on 2nd Dec with Toplink Toyota, Ranchi, Jharkhand. As per their sales officer my booking serial for ETIOS is no -03. And they have already delivered 06 vehicles and I am still waiting for my car. I have called innumerable times to the Bangalore Call Centre as well as to the dealer, but today I received a very blunt reply from one Ms Reshma (Bangalore)- "Sir, Even we cannot tell you when you will get your vehicle!" Surprising.
Now whom shall we poor customers look upto except God Almighty. I have already availed car loan and have to produce the vehicle within one month..what am I going to do about that?
The dealer says it depends on the colour one has booked. But this was not told to us at the time of booking. I have booked V model- Serene Bluish Silver. The dealer says that I will get in March/April..Then what was the benefit of booking early on 02nd Dec?
All the 06 deliveries have been made to influential people. There is no rule here..because this is India guys. Toyota ho ya Honda..we spoil all their quality policies. Jai Hind!!

Please indimate me the exact date of delivery.
I save some pictures (vermillion red color)from the internet.They have given 2 colors.One is maroonish red and the other is light red shade.By seeing this i was totally confused.Which one is the actual color.I have seen all corors of etios except vermillio red.Sir please mail me some photos of etios vermillion red color to my email.id.

It is true. They are not ready to give me a quotation for Etios G (sp) I booked the car (red) on 2nd Dec2010 noon.It seems the they have already delivered about 40 Etios in all colors at Nippon Toyotta, Trichur, Kerala till date .But I have no information yet.When enqired the dealer is not in a able to answer my questions regarding the date of delivery . Also they are not giving me my priority number or how many cars they have delivered till date.They told me one red car is delivered last week. But I have not seem a Red car yet. I booked red seeing in the dealers LCD TV on 2nd Dec2010.
we have given the interview in milleninum toyato in thane they not giving us any information about joining we have waited for 2 months . our interview has taken by the main boss in may months. sir u can help us for that. they told us we will call us many times but we did not get any information from them.
i have recently bought TOYOTA ETIOS LIVA DIESEL 2 weeks ago and when i checked the car at my place i found that the body line of the car was not in proper shape, ( fender, door and railing below doors were not aligned properly) there is a manufacturing default in the car and then i went to your dealer in dwarka from where i bought the car, they started giving me vague answers that we dont know any thing about this its a technical issue, may be workshop people can help you in this. As the dealer agreed himself that there is a defect in the car but still he was just making excuses and throwing the ball in the others court and now i have to deal with your workshop people.
i havnt driven even 100 kms and you can even check that there is no fault at my end.
kindly look in this matter otherwise i would have to approach court for the justice.
