[Resolved]  traffic — Traffic jam because of Police

We commute to office which is in Whitefield. We start from home around 9am, but reach office only by 10:45 am or 11am. Not before that. Its all because of our dear traffic police controlling the sigals manually specifically the silk board junction. Everyday we are waiting at the silk board signal to change for nothing less than 10 mins. They are very liberal in leaving the traffic to move from BTM main road towards HSR and electronic city but least bothered about the other traffic which is from HRS to BTM or Bommanahalli towards HSR. They are always busy speaking to each other or over the phone. Not bothered to change the signal light. When the Government has invested on the automated system of traffic signals, and when the Bangaloreans are well aware of the signal "WHY" are the system not properly utilized and waste the manpower and money which the Government has invested by collecting the tax from common man.
