[Resolved] Transcend — Faulty Hard Disk | |||
I had purchased a 640GB Portable Hard disks from Transcend.within 3-6 months o[censored]sage the HD stopped working.I lost all the data stored on it.I was asked to contact Accel Frontline in Chennai for a replacement.Its been close to 3 months that I have submitted the HD to Accell but there is no sign of getting a replacement.Transcend says they are out of stock.2 of my colleagues also faced the same issue.I also heard that many people who had purchased similar HD faced the same issue. So i would like to caution all the people who are purchasing transcend products to refrain from buying any Transcend products.I spoke to many transcend customers when waiting(In long queue) to register complaints at Accell.All of them were unhappy with the products and moreover with the after sales service support.
