Hello Sir/Madam, On April 11th, 2009, I tried to withdraw an amount of Rs.15500/- from Union Bank ATM located in TATABAD, 100 feet road, Coimbatore using SBI ATM cum DEBIT card.I got a recipting saying transaction declined but the amount got debitted from my account. ATM machine ID :NC0I[protected] My ATM card no:[protected] Date & Time of Transaction:[protected]:52 (Apr 11th) I have given a complaint in SBI PBB, Koramangala and reference no. of the same is 2467593 Kindly do the needful to credit the amount of Rs.15500/- back to my SBI account [protected] Regards, Rajeswari Was this information helpful? In your case you will have to contact the bank whose ATM you were operating, giving them the account details of the Debit card you were using. Once they find the discrepency in the cash disbursement from the ATM machine, they will refund it back to the same account.

The bank should be able to trace this at the EOD settlement and the money should be back in his account. It would take sometime as Bank would need to dig out the cash totals from the ATMs and not all of the ATMs are maintained by banks.

Please be also advised to keep the slips containing the error messages handy though, in case they were required.
