[Resolved] UTI ARS Bond — NON RECEIPT OF BOND CERTIFICATE/INTEREST. | |||
Dear sir, ARS BOND 35109196. I would like to bring your kind attention the following facts. That I started the CHILDRENs GIFT GROWTH FUND(1986) UTI scheme on 7th august 1999 in the name my child baby Maria Mathew(DOB[protected] with investment of Rs:25000/-normally for 21 years and they issued membership dated 09/08/1999 with date of maturity 16/02/2017. Later M/s UTI has stopped the scheme without any intimation Or intimation may be there and it was not delivered to me as I also left India for better prospectus to UAE. Later I shifted my residence from Palakkad to UAE(NRI) and my local address change to Kottayam intimated to local post office at Palakkad. As later I came to know that the scheme was changed as ARS Bond scheme and bond no. 35109196 is allotted for my child.And I don't have official communication for the above. And I didn’t get the original bond certificate or a single interest payment so far. Since I have shifted my residence from Palakkad to Kottayam both in Kerala I missed a lot of communications in between eventhogh we intimated our change of address to local post office and M/S UTI. As of now being an NRI with family stationed at Abudhabi and Passport is the main valid document for all NRI's and I already submitted the signed passport copies of both Maria Mathew and undersigned for dispatching the original ARS bond to the undersigned by many letters and it has been refused for some or other reasons. Kindly note that based upon telephonic discussion with Central Processing Centre in July 2009(As ARS bond is matured no further bond paper will not be dispatched and it will be directly debited to bank a/c)as intimated we opened new bank account in my daughter's name with SBI KOTTAYAM and signature verification done from bank submitted from Kottayam to CPC .And it was confirmed that they received it. They refused again stating that they need birth certificate to be attested and are also submitted. Still I didn’t get the original bond certificate or a single payment. UTI ARS Bond — Non-receipt of Interest for 2005-06

I wish to invite your kind attention that ,I received the aforesaid
bond of my daughter named janani only in the month of march 2009with
letter dated 4.3.2009 ref

on my letter stating that,I have not received my bond.
Subsequently,I got a cheque stating that my maturity amount along with
interest for period 1.10.2008 to 31.3.2009 for a sum of Rs 7271.Bond
value being Rs 7000/.with date of allotment as 1.4.2004 and maturity
date being 1.4.2009.
From the cheque received,I noticed that interest for the period
mentioned below is not included in the cheque.
1.4.2004 to 31.4.2005-( Two half year interest)
1.4.2005to 31.3.2006-( Two half year interest)
1.4.2006 to 31.3.2007(Two half year interest)
1.4.2007 to 31.3.2008(Two half year interest)
1.4.2008 to 30.9.2008( one half year interest)
I have not received the afore said interest cheques because ,I have
received the bond itself in march 2009 only.
I had brought to the notice of this issue with customer service at
Chennai and Mumbai several times over phone and every time ,i got a
reply stating that ,I will get the cheque within 15 days .In spite of
several followup and personal letter to mumbai dated 29.5.2009,
I am sorry to state that ,i haven't received the cheques yet from
mumbai.I am really worried and i don't know about the fate of the
interest for the afore said period.
I am writing this email ,with a hope that ,I receive proper reply with
intimation of dispatch of cheques to the following address.

ARS Bond in the name of Minor become major. SB account is in the name of children who is the holder on attaining major. To avoid procedures of signature is tobe attested, could the guardian/original applicant append his /her signature in the r Bank and address update form since already there are a lot of complaints on nonreceipt of bonds.
