[Resolved]  Voltas - Split AC — NO SERVICES FROM VOLTAS

Two years ago, i installaed one split AC of 0.8 ton from Voltas. Its sealed system is still under warranty.
This ac stopped functionning this month and i lodged the service request on Voltas centralised service system / call center on April 14, 2008 ( complaint number 08AP140342). The first time i was told that the service technician would attend within 48 hours. No body visited. After waiting for one week, i started following up with the call center giving reference to my complaint number, everytime i am told that the technician is visiting today. Finaaly, i approached the website of Voltas to fing two email addresses, one of Head, Mumbnai Region, Mr A K joshi and second of Prakash, and sent them email on 25th April, 2008 requesting for intervention, but to my surprise, both the emails bunced back.

We donot expect the poor service support from the TATA group compny, who claim to have INDIA KA AC.
Yes, they truly have INDIA KA AC-----No service Support. The other MNC have very quick service backup and truly respond back within 48 hours.

This is the status of VOLTAS Service in MUMBAI...What to talk of small cities? Finally, i am being forced to get the repairs done in open market, inspite of having warranty.

My strong recommendations... dont get carried away by INDIA KA AC...DONOT BUY VOLTAS AC - or else have a failed AC in peak summer...INSTEAD buy some brand which gives good after sales...GODREJ is one definitely...

I bought a voltas 1ton split ac on 19.04.2011 from sathya agencies, tirunelveli.From the beginning onwards we are having problem in our AC.I was informerd many times to the respective shop and service center but we have not yet got solution for this problem.I and my family were suferring physically and mentally.I request you to take immediate action regarding this problem.our last complaint no.11MY1600260.

My mother Smt Nila de, residing at 10/28 Bijoygargh, Kolkata -32, had bought an air conditioner split machine of 1.5 Ton vide model no-1.5 TR VERTIS ELITE, Invoice no-FESC/11-12/1808 dated 18th June 2011 from your dealer FUNDAMENTAL ELECTRONICS PVT LTD.at South city Mall, Kolkata by credit card.The said product had been delivered on 20 th June 2011 with sealed packed vide delivery challan no 673 and bill no- 1808.The day after tomorrow your installation agency ROHIT REFRIGERATION COMPANY BHARAT REFRIGERATION COMPANY SERVICE CENTRE 16 CREEK ROW KOLKATA-14 Vide card no -626, sent one engineer came to install the machine .They had opened the sealed packet of the machine and installed, That at the time of installing of the machine the front air flap was broken.My mother repeatedly said the engineer not to install or inform the company regarding the incident.The said engineer informed the company but he installed the machine, but after installing the said machine was not get cooling.That on next day another engineer came to supervise the machine and he directed that due to leakage of gas the machine is not getting cold.He presumed that the fitter at the time of installing the machine might have done some thing wrong that is why this machine is not getting cold.After that long time has been passed but there is no improvement.No one come from your company to solve the problem .That after purchase of your product we are suffering a lot.You are not taking the responsibility to provide the service after purchase.That it reveals from your activity that WE SHOULD WITHDRAW THE FAITH AND TRUST FROM TATA COMPANY.IT IS NOT EXPECTED FROM TATA COMLANY .
That in this situation if your good office take necessary action then we will be obliged.Otherwise we will be compelled to go before the CONSUMER FORUM.

Voltas - Premium Split A/C — Replacement of the A/C

I bought the Voltas Premium Split A/C on 28/07/2011, its just been 13 days and cooling is not proper. I called the Voltas customer care to send an engineer to diagnose the problem , he said Gas is leaking out due to which cooling is not there. He said he will fill the gas but we dont the gas to be put as this will persist again .. its just been 13 days so we wanta new A/C. I was in an impression that Voltas is good company and is poineered in the manufacturing of A/CC but this is really disppointing as the product we bought is not at all good . Its very unstatisfying that even after spending so much amount by the consumer the product offered by the company is giving so many problems.

I would request you to please look into the same and please help us in getting a new Split A/C.

we have purchased 3 split 2ton ac's for PAU ludhiana one year back one of them not working properly from the very first day of installation and is in the same condition after one year now the suppliar has said no guaranty after one year we are getting it repaired from the private personals on cash payment but the co. never bother tc check time and again break downs .Now the Punjab Agricultural University has decided not to purchase voltas product specially AC's
Suggesions;-well qualified trained young persons should be deputed for attending complaints.No. of complaints will be more as per sale so more no. of persons will be required for up dating the pending work which is not done so it seems people will naturally not show interest in further purchasing specially AC's
I made a request with Voltas AC Customer care on 31th May 2012 for dismantaling and installation of my Voltas Spilit AC to near by location and the complaint number was 12my3103470.

Till this date there was no response from Voltas service people to attend the service request they calls to verfiy if I am willing pay Rs.3000 for installation where as custoner care informed me that Rs.1500 towards charges for dismandlling and installation.

It seems there was no coordination between Voltas service centre and the local service representative.

I never expect this sort of service from TATA Voltas.

It is proved that TATA Group not meeting the customer expectation and they simply project their brand image and not to follow business ethics.

Do not get carried away their brand image. It was worst experience for me and do not go for VOLTAS.

I had register complain on 15 December your franchise cool track co, panjim goa, owner Amin ([protected])had install 74 ac all are having gas leaking problem and some of outdoor unit are not proper he had removed compressor on December 20th now till date its he have not retained
i had called customer care on this number [protected] around 20 times and i had called Amin also my ac is not fixed still

Sir, I registered a complaint on 4th June 2014. The compliant number is [protected] . I have been calling customer care number, replied that our technician would solve your problem by ought that day, but so far no technician not attended.
POOR SERVICE DONT BUY VOLTAS AC. THIS IS MY HUMBLE SUGGESTION.
Voltas customer service is the worst...compared to standard ACs...it sucks...really... don't purchase voltas AC...
They will drive your life away...and they won't bother once you purchase their products...
