[Resolved]  Washing Machine — Leakage of Heavy Electric shock

Please refer to my given below mail conversion with LG Officials regarding Leakage of Heavy Electric shock from their newly purchased washing machine.


I have to admit my wife for first aid in Hospital due to Heavy Electric shock from their newly purchased washing machine and same was informed to LG officials. They becomes agree to replace my present Model as the compassion of my medical expenses of first aid of my wife, during my telephonic conversions at the time of complain but now going back from their words.


Now I want to put-up this case in consumer forum and want refund of my all medical expenses. Kindly advice the procedure for the same.

Step have been taken by your costumer care cell today morning. BUT I repeat my simple questions as eailer which not replied yet,

Is there any quality controls as per the certification of ISI mark and ISO 9001??
Is the products getting check before packing and sending them for sale in market????
Who will bear the medical expenses, which I have done against the gift given by LG to my wife (electric shock)????

Hi There,

I have purchased Washing machine, mod. No. WP 1021 S on date 23/09/2009 and get delivered on Dt.24/09/2009.

When my wife install it for operation and start washing of cloths, she got a heavy electric shock while the same and get felt down on earth and becomes sense less due to same, due to same I have to admit her in hospital.

I HAVE A SIMPAL QUESTION WITH Lg (A LEADING BRAND OF WORLD),


1-Is this the quality standard of Lg??
2-Is Lg fulfilling the all quality standard of various certifications, which have obtained by Lg??
3-Was it checked properly before packing??
4-Is there any control on Quality of products??
5-Is there any remedy of this miss hap??
6-Should I knock thee doors of low??
7-Should I laudge FIR for the same??????

Also, would like to inform you that we register this complain on 10 Am dt. 25/09/09 (Comp.No C[protected]). and also reminds the same three times to costumer care cell, yet no action taken.

Now I want my refund of my money. now it my opinion that the product of Lg are not reliable.
