Subject: Five Months Delay in New Connection.

Dear Sir,
With respect to the above subject I wish to bring it in your kind attention that I have applied for a new domestic connection on 29th June, 2011 by application no: [protected] with application earnest money Rs. 200/- in Rajarhat Electric Supply office located at Kalipark, Bablatala, P.O- Gopalpur. Then I have received the quotation on 08th September, 2011 and I paid the full quotation amount Rs. 1520/- (Cash) by receipt no: 14281 & 14282 on the same day. But till date we are waiting for the electricity in my house. I have approached several times to the electric supply office for my new connection where I was told that my connection order is given to a contractor named ‘Mr. Sukumar’ (Mobile No: [protected]) via the order no: 161665 dated 16th September, 2011. They also told me to contact this person for my connection. Accordingly I have contacted this person at least twice in every week in last two months. But till now this person never came for giving my connection. Every time he gives me different excuses like, non-availability of meter and accessories, puja holidays, workers are on leave, etc.
My house is located at Bishnupur-Kalaberia on the 91 Bus Road where electricity pole is available in front of my house, but I cannot understand the reason of this unjustified delay of five months in giving a new connection by the electricity board.
Now my question is how WBSEDCL could depute this irresponsible, inhuman contractor ‘Mr. Sukumar’ for giving new connection to a customer as he is mostly famous for taking bribes. I think this contractor is spoiling the reputation of WBSEDCL and his license should be canceled by the concerned authority.
Hence I request you if you kindly consider my problem and take urgent remedial steps to solve this problem. It’s my heartiest request to you to complete my connection soon and do the justice.
