I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (Classic 250 Litre model) from KALINGA SALES branch BHAGALPUR Bihar on dated 16 April 2010 at 5 pm and was conveyed that the product is being checked by our staff , we shall deliver it within half an hour. Again at 8pm I came to the showroom .at that time they told us we had delivered it at 5.30 Pm. within few minutes it shall be at your home.I returned back to my house and hired a labour to receive it and set it on the first floor. But the product was not delivered that day.
Next day i could not attained my duty because no body was present in my house to collect it and finally it was delivered on 17th of April 2010 at 11.55 AM.and was installed at 3 PM .
From the day one of delivery, the lower door of this refrigerator was opening more than 180 degree with a sound while opening and closing the door. I complained to KALINGA SALES with this problem he advised to contact service center of whirlpool. We explaned the problems to the service center and he assured me we will sent you the technician very soon . Next day on 16th the technician came and oiled the lower door but the problem remains unsolved.. Again I complained the whirlpool customer care another day another technician came to solve it but next day also the result was same he told me that it manufacturing defect.
Then I contact the show room KALINGA SALES and i told to replace it by new ones. his behavior was very much unpleasant. He stated " Isi tarah hum sab kabari rakhte rahainge to ho gaie meri dukandari " it means what i bought was kabari. Think over it, who will by your kabari by paying for brand new.
Again i contact manager whirlpool service center. he again assured to solve my problem . Next day an engineer /technician attended it. he solved it by oiling it . we were happy that the problem was solved. just after 10 or 20 minutes the problem started. again i called Md. shahid he told me i will attain you another day. now we had observed the scratch damaged by opening and closing the door. Again I talked to your manger he told me we are trying to solve it but finally you have to talk to the manager show room KALINGA SALES, he can only do any thing nothing is in my hand.
Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and he had preplanned to transfer it to the customer and they did.
After observing all the episode it can be concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects you should replace your refrigerator.
Finally I again request to Manager KALINGA SALES, Bhagalpur, as well Whirlpool service center to replace this defective piece of refrigerator but they rudely told us not to replace it at any cost.
