[Resolved]  Whirlpool Refrigerator — Very Poor Service

Hi,

My name is Natarajan. I bought a fridge in 2003 from whirlpool with guarantee for 5 years and went for an AMC upto 2010.

Last month (april), our fridge had a problem of not getting cooled. So we placed a complaint and a service agent came on 19 Apr 2008 and said the compressor was not working. As we still have guarantee for the product as well as AMC for upto 2010, he changed the compressor after a months time. Even after changing the compressor, the fridge is not getting cooled. So we again called the service agent.

This time he says that, there is a block inside the back panel and the fridge has to be changed with the cost of Rs.8000. We don' t understand, why we need to pay such a huge amount to get the replacement as we still have guarantee and AMC.

Kindly do the needful to get a prior service from whirlpool as soon as possible.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Very Very Poor Service

I bought whirlpool refrigerator one and half years before with 5 years AMC.I have complaint one month before regarding door problem. Till now I'm not getting positive feed back from service center.

Kindly do the needful to get a prior service from whirlpool as soon as possible.

I agree with Mr.Natarajan on the way Whirlpool service department handles service. Whirlpool has service association with M/s Sai Services, and i reached the call desk at[protected] for reporting the problem with My Washing machine..An Engineer turned up and inspected the product and start marketing about a cleansing agent powder. I asked him to prescribe the name of the washing machine cleansing powder, the engineer still forced me to but the stuff from him. I relented, and for the last two months i am struggling with Whirlpool in terms of service handling. In my opinion Please do not buy whirlpool, i do not know anything about how services are offered, but with whirlpool it is pathetic.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Poor Cooling

I have purchased a 310Lit Whirpool Refrigerator from one of their authorised dealer in Ahmedabad about a year back and it was working OK. However recently we observe that there is irregularity in the cooling and the food products stored inside get spoiled.

I have made a complaint and in the first instance, I also have paid their engineers service charge and after a casual check up it has been reported that it is working and no apparent mistake is observed.

Again I experienced the problem of poor quality and Company's engineer made a casual visit and he has not done anything except feeling the temparature inside and promised to come again. All the while he was insisting for entering into an Annual Service Contract.

On a second instance also he visited and went back without doing anything. I have made three complaints on their centralised customer support centre ([protected]) and each time I got a nice talk of deputing engineer and setting right the problem, but in vain.

Now I dont know what to do? Is it a must that I should enter into an Annual Service Contract? Could you please enlighten me in the matter.
I PURCHASED A 180 LTR. WHIRPOOL GENIOUS REFRIGERATOR FOR TWO YEARS AGO. NOW WE OBSERVED THAT BODY OF THE LOWER PORTION RUSTED. IN THAT TIME WHAT WILL DO.

Recently i have purchased both washing machine(automatic) and fridge(220 ltrs-double door). I might have made more than 20 calls and none have come for proper demonstration. Being a multinational Company product, the services should be apt and upto mark. We have paid a premium amount to purchase the product. The srvices to be provided shoul also be premium. But it is TOTALLY otherwise. Many of my calls have been recorded, what i understand from their internal system while lodging compliant/request for service, i kindly request the higher management to go through the same and undersstand the fact that how much harrassment your service station people have caused on me. It is really a very shamefull on the part of the Compnay if it is not aware of such instances.

Still i am waiting for proper demo for the products since i have put in my hard earned money to purchase the same and it is my right to have such demonstation as agrred.

The refrigerator at my home is not working for last few days. I called their service center at least 10 times. Everytime I was told that someone will come within 24 hours to fix this.
So far nobody came and we are facing serious difficulty without a refrigerator. I expected better service from Whirlpool. But it looks like they are very insensitive to customer care.
So next time no whirlpool product purchase.
PLS DONT BUY ANY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT - ITS THE WORST THING EVER YOU WILL GET INTO . I totally agree with with others, their service sucks - they have no consideration for the user and are busy only in promotional activities. I have had horrible experience when the engineer confirmed the time and then never turned up - when contacted after long wait - he sounded clueless and claimed he just forwards the complaint calls to his juniors. I contacted the custoemr care centre again and they assured that the engineer will be at my house in next 2 hrs. --but nobody turned up.
Our fridge is not working and we lodged complaint on[protected] after unable to contact them due to inaccessability of phone.Technician has come and changed the panel board and told it requires 24 hour to get cooled. But fridge did not work and again we contacted service centre the technician came removed the panel board fixed and told that there is compressor problem.But till date they are yet to repair. We have purchases in 3-2005. and warrenty exists.

Whirlpool Refrigerator — Whirlpool Refrigerator - Poor Service

Whirlpool India, Bangalore service is pathetic, I have been calling their service center since last three days regarding access cooling problem in my refrigerator. Everytime their executive tells me that engineer will visit today and no one has turned up till now. Earlier Apr 1, 2009 their engineer had came charged me which Rs. 280 and did some fan adjustment and said it will be ok. Again, the same problem existed so again their engineer visited on Apr 10 he changed the sensor and charged Rs 350. This did not solve the problem yet. Its 18th April 2009 and I have been calling their service center since last three days regarding access cooling problem in my refrigerator and every day they are telling engineer will come but no one turned up yet.

Whirlpool — poor cooling of refrigerator

I have complain regarding Whirlpool refrigerator purchased in April, 2008. The detail of the same along with model no. is as given below.
My complain is that despite many visit by company's technical support group my refrigerator fails to work properly resulting in insufficient cooling of my system which result is spoiling cooked food, fruits and vegetables within 12 hours. The company even during the warranty period refused to address this problem. Many visits by the local vendor did not bring any change in the functioning of the refrigerator. I would request for replacement of my refrigerator or I will be forced to file a case against the company in the consumer court within a forthnight.

Hello Sir,

we have to complain for refrigerator cooling auto defrosh green switch.This switch is not working in altime and totaly switch is off. we had complain in Pravin Electronic ur Dealer. Pravin Electronic is Not a action in our complain. we have 4 time complain in ur Dealer. we have not a satisfaction in ur dealer and product. and last time complain in ur authorised service center in ahmedbad. but authorised person in my home is behaviour is very poor ur answer is very poor.ur person answer is we have dependent in ur company whirlpool . please sir we have a complain for cooling switch is replace and give me a new switch. we have a purchase a Refrigerator whirlpool 200 Ltr and Dated[protected].in ur Dealer Pravin Electronics, Gandhinagar.( Gujarat )
i have purchased washing machine and A .C. of wirpool from kapila electronics janak puri both of them, are defective peice and i have been very badly harassed by the company and the kapila ..
I am also facing problems as I lodged complaint somany times since 24.9.09. The customercare at Bombay has only a recorded message "our executives are busy be ready with the complaint" and after a second says send SMS to so and so number. I am really fed up having purchased a refrigerator for Rs.35750/-. I do not know whom to approach.
whirlpool company services are very worst we still have warranty for 1 year
but they are asking service charge and spare parts charges
pls dont buy any whirlpool product in just 3 years our refridgerator not working properly not getting cooled .
very very worst service after service again it get problem with in 2 days
then servicers came and getting charges again and again i am having evidence for that it will going to become big issue. watch all
