[Resolved] DishTV — dish tv arrogance/ customer impact | |||
Good evening, this is to get to your notice on the total frustration that i am goin through for last 3 months. Pls find the detailed description of same & also the way how dish tv is cheating customers. Vc number: [protected] 1. I have proactively called up dish tv in january/ feb’19 way before the launch of trai regulation & brefied on my channel requirements & the same was mentioned would activated by customer care. 2. This was noticed by me in feb19 again that the channels were not activated, i had to call back & customer care mentioned previous agent had not activated my request & took my fresh request 3. Again frustrated of not activating my plan, called back & the call was escalated to senior department they mentioned some technical changes are not made to my set up box due to which they had not activated. 4. Then i asked senior agent why was this not informed to me in past, he upfront told me that this will not be possible. I confronted him to listen my calls & see if this was informed and get back with pay back for impact caused. 5. He checked & confirmed the issue was with dish tv and not from my end, he was supposed to give my a refund of 400₹, but he gave me maximum as per policy is only 200₹ (Audacity of dish tv is even if they are at fault, they still want to give what they can & not as per customer impact). 6. When i mentioned this is not right on there part, the senior executive told, i am open to do what i want to do, but they can give this much only. 7. With sheer frustration i let it go thinking it is one off case & mentioned senior executive to activate my plan which was worth 300₹ per month as per trai policy 8. He confirmed he will do it, now i thought atleast my issue would be fixed. 9. Today when i check my connection was activated with 750₹, i with frustration called customer care to confirm why this was activated & with whose permission. 10. He mentioned this is recommended plan for me?, i told why was i not activated with the plan i wanted, he told againmy alignment is not done... You guys tell me what more should i do.. I called almost ten times n still my plan is not activated. Every time i call they tell alignment should be done, but they do not do.. I am literally frustrated, pls listen to all my calls that i called from january 19 & understand the issues. Iam left with no options other then escalating this issue to trai & consumer forum. My expectations: need dish tv to act responsibly & do what they are supposed to do as per ground of law defined. Refund all the amount & take a visible actions against all the people who are responsible in not implementing the actions. Trai team, pls help the customers from these kind of issues & guide me what all actions i can take again these companies who are against customer rights... Note: i am a normal working guy who spend time in office most of the time, i call when i get frustrated & these companies are torturing me as for this alone issue i had to loose my patience and under go immense mental torture talking to multiple people on same issue multiple times..
