[Resolved] DishTV — hidden billing charges | |||||
I have requested re-installation of dishtv at my residence on 09.03.2018 through call centre and charges for it was 200/- confirmed by the executive. I also confirmed regarding cable charges as it may required more than existing cable and charges confirmed was 9 rs/meter would be charged extra. No other charges were told to me during call. On 10.03.2018 executive mr. Jay singh came and during installation he said receiver is not working, so need to change it. After sometime he said set top box connector is also faulty, so it also needs to change. I told him first change the connector then try, he did so and it worked (Means receiver was alright and he just want to make money). Now it’s time to pay the bill and he said total amount is of 260/-. I asked for breakup then he said 200/- installation charges, 20/- connector and 40/- fastener bolt charges. I said but fastener charges already included in installation charges and extra amount for connector will pay you with service charges. But he said no, fastener is also charged separately in bill, it does not come under installation charges. Then i called to customer care to confirm the same and my call transferred to senior executive deepika and she also confirmed that fastener charges were also included in installation charges so, don’t give fastener charges and total amount is 220/-. He was agreed with the same as customer care connected him in conference call. I said the same to executive after call but again he argued with the same line and said he also called to customer care and charges would be 260/-. Now last call done to customer care and now there is different story. He said charges would be 260/- and fastener charges not included in the bill and has to pay. But fastener charges were not charged in previous re-installation and not told to me during call also and your senior executive also confirmed the same as well. But now dish tv is charging as they want to charge without giving any knowledge to customers and when customer asked they added inappropriate amount like in this case fastener charges!! I want to ask one question here what is meant by installation charges without setting up the dish on wall??? And different executive tells different story, why?? That was the worst service experience i have ever faced!!! Please tell all hidden charges to the customers and stop making fool of customers.
