[Resolved] DishTV — non issue of cash receipt for service & goods purchased. | |||
Complaint regarding non issue of receipt-the connection provided by dish tv to me was not working for a few days. A complaint was made regarding it and in response to my complaint their customer care executive suggested that a visit of technical personnel needs to be made for which rs.200/- visiting charges will have to be made and additional charges of part replaced will also have to be made by me. I agreed and their service engineer visited yesterday and replaced my set top box and charged me rs.450/-. When i asked for a receipt of rs.450/- he showed his inability as he has not been provided with receipt book and that it may reach me on mail. Now that i have not received any receipt on my email, i made a call at customer care number [protected] from my other number [protected]. Their executives told me that company does not provide any receipt as it is not the policy of the company. As per law of the land, it should be mandatory for them to issue me a receipt of rs.450/- giving a break up of service and goods provided by them to me. Their service care executives have not been able to give me a satisfactory reply to my query and also are not agreeing to send me a receipt as stated above. Dear Dish TV,
I have checked my Dish TV account, there is no mention of any service charges on my Account details by login on to Dish TV. I dont know what you people want to show me in my February statement, you are evading my simple demand that you have sold me a set top box for Rs.250/- without giving me any option of purchasing from the open market and Rs.200/- you have taken for visiting charges of your technician. Since than, I have been asking for a Cash memo/Receipt either hard copy or online but you are evading. It seems that you are breaking Consumer Protection Act and other laws of the land because you want to shy away from after sales service or you want to evade GST. Still waiting for your positive reply by sending me a proper cash receipt/bill.
