[Resolved]  DishTV — Set top box faulty

Name - Arun Khosh VC No [protected] Sir, i wish to register my complait about poor service from the part of your local dealer and service persons. I am availing a HD connection of Dish-TV. On 29th of November it was noticed that the set to box is faulty. The service person was called and he confirmed that the Set Top Box is faulty and advised to register complaint for availing free replacement since it was under warranty. I registered complaint and to my surprise, i received a message from Dish TV stating that the complaint is resolved. This happened even before the technician reached my home. I registered the complaint again and the technician replaced the Set Top Box on the third day. But within one hour of the technician leaving the premise, the replaced Set Top Box also stopped working and i am not able to view any program since then. Again a complaint was registered and when contacted with your local representative, it was stated that spare Set Top Box is not available and I have to wait for another week for a free replacement covered under warranty or if i need an immediate replacement, i have to pay the cost of a new one Set Top Box. This is a bad case indicating casual and careless nature of your service agencies. Now a days even govt offices function more proactively to resolve the grievances. The casual replies received from the call centre executives and service centre staff are really irritating. The call centre persons are not trained enough to understand the gravity of the cases explained to them. When I tried to explain that the technician is available on a phone call but cannot fix the issue due to non availability of Set Top Box, the call centre boy again replies that the technician will be sent once again to fix the problem. The person attending calls at BENAKA ELECTRONICS gives casual replies that they are not sure about the availability of Spare Set Top Boxes and cannot assure till what date the issue can be resolved. Also it is to request that i am paying around Rs 15/- a day as rent. My next recharge needs to be enhanced considering the under warranty Set Top Box not working since 29/11/2014.
