[Resolved] DishTV — supplying substandard set top box damaging tv. | |||
Please refer to my earlier complaint to which no satisfactory reply or resolution. Today, your technician mr. Shankar mondal has visited & sent you pix of substandard set top box connecting with adapter vidocon. He is also of view that this is cause of damage to my old tv panasonic. You are neither changing set top box nor compensating of gross violation of faith of customer. Innumerious complaints have had no effect on you. Further you want my to pay you rental for not viewing or using your setvices. Kindly let me know what the company has finally to say... After which i shall be compelled to take action as advised. So, we have already agreed for FOC visit and waiver of STB charges of Rs. 250/-. However, you want New STB on swapping for which we denied but you do not want any assistance. We have also confirmed that your TV does not get faulty due to faulty STB. Moreover, there is no refund in case of account closure. However, if you want a technician visit, we can arrange the same but you will be getting refurbished STB, not a new STB.
