DishTV — Worst customer service — dish tru hd set top box not working | |||
I have been having basic 301 error and kept calling dishtv customer support in may and no one shows up for days and finally the guy comes after 5 days and replaces the set top box and it took more than 30 min to boot and he said first time it's like that and took the money and never gave a remote and left. Then for few days i was stuck with 30 to 45 min of start up time of the set top box. Again i kept opening complains and no one shows up and end of the day they closed the complains without my permission. Almost 10 days of trials, one guy shows up and nicely told me that the adapter is bad and replaced it and took 300 plus visiting charges and leaves. Everything looked alright and it worked for 15 days and then heavy rains for few days and then again 301 error. Again kept calling and opened complaints and no response. Finally one day one technician comes and checks and says the problem is with the set top box and tells me he doesn't have a new set top box and said he would come back with a new set top box. Actually i explained that i am in the 1 month warranty period but no response again. This entire week i kept calling and no one came. Really frustrated and feel terrible looking at the way the companies are dealing with their customers. Bad service!! Money and time gone chasing these people. Wake up dishtv!!
