Domain India — The co. charged for web domain registration but did not register the domain name.

I have purchased the domain name "billboxx.in" from "www.domainindia.org" website on 16.10.2015 and paid Rs. 174/- for it vide their invoice no. 65836 dt. 16.10.2015.

There after vide thier email dt. 16.10.2015 at 6:42 pm they confirmed to me that :
"This message is to confirm that your domain purchase has been successful and Domain has been successfully Registered. The details of the domain purchase are below:
Registration Date: 16/10/2015
Domain: billboxx.in
Registration Period: 1 Year/s
Amount: Rs. 152
Next Due Date: 16/10/2016"

Today, when I checked was checking for some other web domain, I checked for the domain "billboxx.in" too and it showed available on Godaddy.com.

I immediately made a purchase of billboxx.in from godaddy.com and purchased it at 1:30 pm on 29.03.2016.

And thereafter I called domainindia.org's Customer care no.[protected] & talked to Ms Chetna.

She checked n informed me that after making the payment I did not informed them over phone, hence they could not register this name on my behalf.

I said, "that neither I was informed that I was supposed to make a call requesting to register the domain nor the Invoice showed that the domain is not yet registered so that I could have made a call to them."

'Also that since I have a separate confirmation email from them stating that my domain is registered ", hence there is no reason that I would make a call to them asking them to register.

Ms. Chetna stated that as the domain is not registered by them, they would resend (refund) the amount, to which I replied that I since I have enquired and only then you are saying that you will refund the amount, I would like to know your Compensation Policy and if it is acceptable to me, then I will accept it else I would like to make a complaint against then in Consumer Court.

She said all they could do is to refund the amount paid by me. This is not acceptable by me.

I want that they should at the minimum pay for 10 years of the registration charges for this domain name.
