I am Mr. Adrito Basu. On 27th May 2023 - my wife Mrs. Mohona Roy Chowdhury visited the Navi Mumbai (Vashi - Sector 17) branch of Dr. Batra's clinic for hair treatment. The same day she got registered and opted for consultation, light treatment & medicines. The Patient Manager (Mr. Shahid) of Dr. Batra's branch gave us an estimate of ₹3000 for one visit and we opted for that scheme. During payment - we opted for UPI payment and after we paid the ₹3000 through Gpay, it showed 'payment successful' in our Gpay app, but the employees working in Dr. Batra's clinic said they did not receive the payment. We were forced to pay the ₹3000 again, this time we paid through the debit card, and this time Dr. Batra's claimed that they have received the payment.However they said not to worry and had given us in writing in the bill copy (attached) with the signature of their head doctor that if the first amount of ₹3000 (which was debited from our account but Dr. Batra's had claimed that they did not receive) is not reverted back to our bank account then Dr. Batra's will take the initiative to refund the extra amount within 24 hours. However, we had shown our bank statement to Dr. Batra's employees regarding the double debit of ₹3000. but they did not agree to it. On 29th May 2023 my wife got a call from Dr. Batra's where they asked her to give A/C no. for refund but the amount has not been refunded to our A/C till date - 31st May, 2023. Kindly look into it and help us to recover the extra amount debited. I hereby attach all proofs required for your reference.
