I want to lodge a complaint against service department of Electrolux India. We bought ELECTROLUX SPLIT AC ES18M5C(5 STAR)1.5T SPL- SET on 28th June 2017 from Vijay Sales Kalkaji. Since the cooling was not effective, after a few days a complaint was lodged. The service person who visited our house said the A/C was working fine. Though from our end the problem was not resolved, however we thought it might be fine. This year also when we started using AC in Juy 18, we faced the same ineffective cooling problem. Again a complaint was lodged. This time the executive who visited on 11th July 2018 said there is no gas in the AC & it should be refilled. As the 1 year free service is over, we need to pay him Rs 3600/- for gas refill & Rs 561/- for his service. We did not get the gas refilled. I also denied to pay him Rs 561/- as there was hardly any service he did. He says since we are not paying him Rs 561/- the free warranty of compressor for 5 years will be cancelled. My complaint is that during the free service period, the company executives say their product is working fine, & right thereafter when the free service period is over, they come out with the problem. I wish the higher authorities of the Company look into this so that the name of the Company does not get spoil.
