Full Description of the incident:
The service mechanic of the aquaguard dealer of Puri of Odisha came to repair the fault of the machine on my personal complant to Mr. J. Jena, the proprietor of M/S Swasthika Servces, Area Franchisee of Eureka Forbes, Guru Vihar, Lane- 1, Puri. His mechanic Mr. S. Paul came for repair and showed me that some water was coming and he told that flow will increase with passage of time. However, after 10 minutes, no water was flowing and the motor ceased functioning altogether.
Having been felt cheated, I complained to the Eureka Forbes Helpline . After about 4 hours of complaint, I received a mobile call from Mr. Jena by whom I was shouted out and shouted down. He was very much agitated that I had a complaint against him. He bluntly refused to attend to my call and. Being asked as to what I would do to get drinking water as I have AMC valid upto 19/06/2021, he replied that he was not responsible for it as the Eureka Forbes is responsible for it squarely. I was non-plussed and worried as we are a family of five which comprises me(71), my wife(65), my son(47), my daughter(45) and her son(6 years).
Then I had to contact the customer servce centre in their emal.
Somebody, Mr. Simon Behera(as he told me) from Bhubaneswar contacted me and requested me to reach out to Mr. Jena. Accordingly, I telephoned to Mr. Jena and he had decided? to ignore my six calls already.
Till now, no effective repairing and restoration work has been undertaken and we are forced to take undiluted and undstilled water risking our lives to pandemics for which M/S Eureka Forbes and Mr. Jena are squarely responsible. Upto the time the restoration s made, am eligible for compensation including untoward happenings, if any.
