Eureka Forbes — issue of lack of commitment, customer harassment and negligence towards service. | |||
I had purchased one aqua guard and Eureka XForce machile to clean my home in the month of January 2015. After telling a lot of times not to put my check on or before 2nd February 2015, they put both my checks before 30th January 2015. We had to arrange money by lending from outside as we had to give rent and car loan. Secondly, my new Aqua Guard needed a minimum repair of 10-15 times as the machine was defective. I made calls after calls making them understand that if the machine is defective then to please change the machine. but they did not agree and repaired it several times. The service was also delayed and not done in proper manner. as I have two small kids at my home we had to literally buy water from outside for more than 15 days which costed a lot.Thirdly, the Eureka Forbes, said me at the time of selling the product that I will be getting a gift voucher, where there are several gifts and we can get one of those assured gifts the day we get that machine.From January until March I have not received any gift voucher. After a lot of follow up with the guy who sold the machine Mr. Debjit Patnaik ([protected]), his Manager Mr. Abhijit Dutta ([protected]) and Mr. Anirban ([protected]), regarding my gift voucher and Rs.1000 which they committed to pay on the exchange of old Aqua Guard machine. I am still waiting. I will be giving my last instalment for both on March end. Now I come to know from the Manager of Eureka Forbes that my voucher has expired and I am not eligible to get any more vouchers. They want to give us a bag. I can gift the same bag to him but I strictly want to attend to the issue of lack of commitment, customer harassment and negligence towards service. Dear Eureka Team,
I am still waiting for the voucher to arrive against buying the vaccum cleaner. At the same time I got a call from Aqua Guard sales agent from number +[protected], telling me that he had already given me discount by deducting Rs. 1000 at the down payment and we are unnecessary harassing him by complaining. I have my bank statements to prove that not even Rs.1 was given discount or been paid against my old machine. I will definitely complain and file a case in the consumer forum by taking up legally if the same is not resolved within next week.
The below was the mail given by the Manager aquaguard:
Dear Madam,
As per communication with you regarding the issue of extra money taken from you on purchase of Aquaguard I am hereby sending the price chart and hire purchase scheme of AG Magna. Please note that you haven’t paid any extra money as per our scheme.
Please feel free to communicate with us for any problems and sorry for the inconvenience.

The below was my reply:
Dear Anirban,
Thanks for sending this. But I am still not convinced as I asked you to send the scanned copy of the same document which the salesman showed me. The chart of infact all machines. Secondly I was not informed anything about interest charged for EMI. An even after taking away the old machine, when I asked the money against it, he was still promising of getting reimbursed from the Company within the period of March end.
