I had ordered something online and I checked if the product is delivered to that pincode before placing my order. The order number is[protected]. The order was placed in Feb 20th Considering that the delivery would take 30 days. On 25th Feb when I logged in to check the status of the order I saw that the order was cancelled. It was cancelled without me being even consulted about it. I had already paid Rs 6910 which is the complete price of the product. I had never received any intimation after the order confirmation mail. On raising a query and calling up the customer care I got to know that the vendor had cancelled the ordrer due to his logistic issue. Now my question is 1.Why was the cancellation done after payment ?They kept the payment with them till I launched a query . 2.Secondly why was not email triggered before cancelling the order that it had challenges ? 3. Why was the updated information not available on the net? 4. If they are dependent on the vendor logistics to get items delivered why did they accept the payment without checking about the delivery address? 5. If they have received a challenge from the vendor why didn't they immediately arrange for an alternative? They have built the website to deliver products or to act as a middlemen and earn only profits . My biggest challenge is now I have wasted 6 days and the similar product is not available in any other website. Now I have to purchase the product from the local market and pay double the price for logistic to have them delivered on time . Who would bear this loss? Its because of their fake promise and fraud service where they take payment before delivery, They keep the fund in their account for 5-6 days utilize it in other requirements so that the funds keep rolling while the end customer get to know the order is cancelled and the refund will be made after7 days or so. which means they will make the payment when they get payment from selling of other products. This type of fraudulent websites are spoiling the images of e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Ebay or even flipkart. They should be immediately blocked and India should introduce a license for e-commerce platforms so that the entry so such inefficient and cheap websites can be controlled, I demand a demurrage charge and my refund because their inefficiency and fake commitment I missed out offers from other service provider and now I have to pay a huge sum only for logistics 6.
