Franklin Templeton India — Online Payment for Mutual Funds not traceable

I made payments of Rs. 20000 each towards 2 mutual fund schemes from Franklin India website. The website showed me that the payment has been processed successfully & the purchase will be processed on a T+1 basis. However, I did not receive the instant email confirmation that one normally gets. That set the alarm bell ringing. The amount had been deducted from my account but no confirmation from Franklin India. I called their customer care but they did not have any record of the transaction. I confirmed with BillDesk & they said transaction has been successful. However, Franklin India did not have a record even the next day. Their customer care is as pathetic as the online investment functionality on their website. They hardly have access to anything. They are merely meant to take complaints from customers & placate their anger.
