I topped up my freecharge wallet and tried to make my electricity bill payment. I kept getting error with request to try again. After several attempts I wrote to the customer care with screen shot. They assured matter will be sorted out in 24 hours. Even after 36 hours I was still getting the same error. On writing a stern note to customer care, I was advised to change my password and then make the utility bill payment. I reset my password after which my account balance shows zero in the App. On the desktop version the account balance of Rs 5211/- is showing but payment can still not be processed. I again sent them screen shots and demanded refund of Rs4400/- so that I can make my electricity bill payment thru other modes. Now there is no reply coming from freecharge customer care. This is nothing but a nice way of enjoying free float of customers money. Such entities should be debarred from setting up a payment bank till they have their house in order and stop harassing their customers Was this information helpful? | |||||
