Giordano — faulty strap and now they are charging rs.1, 250/- for a new strap | |||
Its been 13 months i bought (On 23/10/2016) the giordano watch from shoppers stop, malad (W), mumbai and it Worked fine but one day i was wearing the watch and suddenly the stitches from the strap came off. There was no pressure on the watch, no pulling or anything of sorts, i was just sitting on my sofa. So i went back to shoppers stop on 1/12/2017 and gave them the watch, they said it will take 45 days to repair it, to which i was shocked. On 14/12/2017 i got a call from giordano that i have to pay rs. 1, 250/- for a new strap and he said that it broke because of some pressure and it cannot on its own come off. The watch is still in warranty and still i have to pay for a damage that was due to their poor quality stitching. After arguing with them, they lowered the price to rs.1, 000/- this seems like a scam to me, as i have to pay for their mistakes. On the call i spoke to mr. Santosh kumar who called from +91 [protected]. He also gave me an email to file a complaint on which didn't exist - service. [protected]@brainstorm.com Complaint no. From shoppers stop - 16134. The watch and the warranty card is with them only and so i don't have any photos. I request the company to replace the strap free of cost and admit it's fault. This is the least they could do when a customer chooses to buys from them a rs.10, 000/- watch. What is the difference between buying a rs.500 watch from a street and rs.10, 000 watch from a brand like yours? Because we trust the brand that it will provide a quality product and provide the warranty for the same. I hope for an early resolution.
