Godrej Natures Basket — selling expired products | |||
Today, i visited godrej natures basket shop, located at Shop no. 6 & 7, ground floor, sacred world mall, wanowrie, pune - 411040, north block, jagtap chowk around 4pm for the very first time. (Normally we go to dorabjees). Obj. Was to see the deliverable of this company as the name and brand has high value and it caters to up-market with expensive product value. We picked up 'yummy's bombay vada packet from the freezer... But to our surprise... When i checked the manufacturing date and experiy time frame... Grrrrrrrr... It was an expired product... I. E. Manufactured in oct/16 with validity or shelf life of 9 months. Wow... Was taken back a bit, to see such a stuff being sold at a premium shop... Anyways... I asked for shop manager... And asked him... Y they are selling expired product in his shop... Answer was ' oh the supplier might have put it by mistake '... Does that mean.. There is no quality check at nature's basket shop? Or was it done purposely to finish the stock Will i do again... Hahahaha Enclosing pic for ref... So be care full while buying... Do check exp date of items you buy.
