[Resolved]  Goibibo.com — Complaint gainst Hotel booking

Hi I successfully booked a hotel ticket on 15/Aug/2014 around 11.30 AM, for Jaipur Heritage hotel for two days, 15 and 16 Aug 2014 through goibibo for 2040 Rs booking id “HTLQASWWW4” Around 5pm on same day i called in hotel, just to confirm my arrival. Hotel staff told me that my name is not with them and their hotel is ful. I called goibibo and tell my story, goibibo executive told me that they will check with hotel and call me back in half an hour. But i did not receive any call from goibibo and after waiting for an hour i called them again and tell same story again. This time they told me that ticket could not get confirmed due to some technical failures and amount will be credited back to my account. But I did not get any information from goibibo untill i called them. In mean time i am receiving messages from goibibo regarding "Please take identity proof, hotel hotline numbers". But did not get a single message regarding my hotel could not get booked. Around 6.30PM goibibo executive called and told me that they were unable to book same hotel as it was full and told me to go for a fresh transaction. At that time i did not have my laptop and was unable to book using mobile internet explorer. Goibibo executive told me that i need to download and applicationas this facility is not added in mobile explorer. This time i was not interested in booking but goibibo executives are calling me again and againand convincing me for new boking and told me that this time they will take care for it. Last I thought to take second chance and go for booking. It was around 8 PM, again i booked a hotel "Hotel Silver Plazza" for 15 August only for 720 Rs and could see message "Goibibo will confirm my ticket in an hour" though amount was debited from my account. After this i did not receive a single call from goibibo and before that i was receiving calls from them in 5 minutes interval. Around 8.30 pm i called again but no one is picking the phone and 24 hour help line number "[protected]"is useless and no one pick the phone after 9 pm in night. Around 2 clock in night i reached to Jaipur hotel silver plazza as i have no other option as all hotels were full. Hotel staff told me that my booking is not with them. As it was around 2 am in night I did not have any option, so i took same room for 1700 Rs. In morning around 10:30 AM i talk with hotel staff and they told me talk to goibibo, if they will confirm e will refund my amount. So i called goibibo again and told the complete story, executive told me to wait for 30 minutes, as they need to check with Hotel SIlver plazza. I waited but could not get any response from them. Around 4 pm when i checked out from my room, goibibo executive called me and told me regarding refund for both my transactions which i will get in 3-4 working days. After all this i came to below conclusions :: 1) I realised that goibibo executives will call you untill you make payment. At time you paid the money they did not bother about you. 2) I do not have any idea where to go in Jaipur as it was 2 clock in night. But this did not matter to goibibo as they got money. 3) Do not fool people by saying 24*7 customer support as after 9 pm you will not get any response from goibibo either by mail or telephone. 4) I paid 1700 Rs for a hotel room, which I got for 720 Rs. When I talk with goibibo for refunding 1700 Rs, as this was fault at goibibo site not mine. But as usual they say NO. 5) In end I would like to say that never go for goibibo as they are totally irresponsible, unprofessional, unethical. I am looking for total refund of 2040 + 720 + 1700 = 4460.
