[Resolved] Goibibo.com — Mismatch in Refund Amount and the cancellation policy on website | |||
Dear Sir, This complaint is with regards to cancellation fee charged by Goibibo. First point is Goibibo website has wrong information, whether that is intentional or by mistake is unknown. In the cancellation policy section notes on GOibibo website, it is mentioned "Note :Cancellation policy mentioned on website OR on ticket is of bus operator and is not decided by Goibibo. Goibibo does not levy any cancellation charges. Service charge will be refunded, if collected." So from above note it is clear that Goibibo doesn't collect any cancellation charges. I booked a ticket with PNR "TYR[protected]" on durgamba travels and their website clearly says "More than 24 Hrs before station departure time: 10 %" So actually Goibibo should have deducted 10% of 650(ticket price) .But they deducted 130 rs which is clearly a mistake from their side. Attached screenshot which has relevant information from Durgamba website and from Goibibo I had sent queries to Goibibo 2-3 times and they are not replying to me correctly .All they are saying is that 130 rs is deducted correctly. However It is clearly mentioned in the T&C.
