Hathway Cable & Datacom — Digital cable services through setup box | |||
I undersigned, C/O Mr Shyam Jugade flat no 101 Srinivas apartment, right Bhusari colony, off paud road, Pune - 411038 have a digital cable connection with set top box.They have been collecting quarterly tariff of Rs 915.To pay the amount we contacted their office several times in July 1st week on phone number [protected] who claimed that they will send the rent collector immediately. However nobody turned up for 2 days.After which we visited office to pay.The lady personnel there refused to accept the money but assured that she will send the personnel immediately.He did arrive on the same day but did not have the instrument for providing the receipt. When my family members insisted that he should provide provisional hand written receipt which he refused . Since our cable connection was off for days together we visited office again & offered to pay the money however the lady at the counter at first refused to accept money and when we insisted she accepted the money without giving any receipt. However the cable started the next day.We, yet to receive the receipt till date. Furthermore, out of 192 + regional channels we had paid for we had problems with few of regional channels .such as distortion of picture sometimes.We again contacted the office for visit of service personnel to visit to fix the problem.The lady at your office assuring us everyday that the personnel will visit immediately which turned out to be hoax. After 5 days of constant follow up the service personnel named Mr Mukesh visited in August second week. He stated that the Hathway main connection at Ground floor of our building is in order however the internal wiring /concealed wiring done by our builder is faulty. He stated that the wiring has to be provided for which he will charge Rs 400 .MY family members agreed for the same but insisted that he should provide the receipt . He refused for the same and walked away stating that if we agree on his terms we should contact him on his mobile no[protected].Subsequent to visit of Mr Mukesh we could receive only 4 channels instead of 190 plus channels received earlier.After which we contacted THEIR office in Pune for more than dozen times without any positive action from their side. our reception Is not there for more than 6 WEEKS. You will kindly note that there is a total failure as regards providing basic facilities/ services for which THEY have taken the money in advance . Apart from above, Their personnel's behaviour is against the service norms. I have complained to nodal officer on 08/09/2016 & have received no response till date.
