Hathway — Hathway sent me a legal notice

I used hathway internet 1 years back which I requested to transfer the service while i was shifting my house in year 2019 and the same was shifted. The connection was later transfer from my name to other person who was using while I left Chennai 2019/

Legal notice has been sent to user xxxxxxxxx for returning Modem / Router back to them despite connection was transferred and still in use. They continue harassing me for past 1 year and calling from different numbers. I tried sending them email but no response from their end now sending legal notice and wanted to take legal action.

I would like to lodge a complaint against them for harassment they continue for connection which was transferred and confirmation email was provided on the same.

Why should i pay the amount if i had not used the service at all. I complained to stop commection and it was the failure of hathway support to stop connection irrespective of multiple reminders to stop connection and hathway send the legal notice to me now?. I had proofs of all emails in my mail box which i had requested to stop the connection. I am not ready to pay amount as i had not used the service. Moreover my connection was prepaid.
